Vi besøkte stedet ved en tilfeldighet (barn på tur, rask middag) på Långtorsdag som de har hele sommeren i Varberg. Vi bestilte pizza og drikke og spiste på stedet. Maten var god og rimelig og kokken/sjefen(?) spanderte i tillegg både en øl og kjærlighet på pinne til ungene. Trivelig sted, selv om fokuset er takeout, og personlig touch er alltid stas!

This is the place if you just want a quick pizza to go. You can eat in the restaurant but the atmosphere is not good. The restaurant donât serve vine or beer and the tables an chairs does not invite to sit-down for a long time. But it does the trick if you only are after a quick pizza dinner and a coke.

We stopped in here twice during our visit to Varberg, both times it was the same: very friendly, crispy perfect pizza, great value. I'd recommend the kebab on pita (served in a wrapper and cup to hold it together-more than you can eat), reminded me of a gyro at home in the US, but much better! Crisp lettuce, hot meat, perfect spice. Thanks! Love to visit owner operated businesses, and here we were served by the owner both times. Free 'salad' aka coleslaw with meal, just like most other Italian places in Sweden...

Restaurang Hamnpaviljongen is a sit down restaurant/café that serves good pizzas an d burgers, but seems to be more populated by beer drinkers who transform this conveniently located restaurant into a loud and noisy "joint". But if you are less picky about this and can filter out the background chatter, then the fairly simple food is good.

We visited the restaurant in the early afternoon on Midsummer's Day. The staff coped really well with the volume of people, not helped when the heavens opened for an unexpected rain shower. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that mussels ordered by friends were unfortunately cold. Other than that, the quality and presentation of food was excellent.Hi dear Bistro Guest =)Thank You for giving us a fine rating.This Day was a crazy afternoon..when the weather hit us and the whole park with all the people who celebrated midsummer came int to our restaurant.Sorry about hearing that Your friends food was cold - And I hope You informed us and that You received new hot mussels.Hope to see You next Year again.All the best,Maria with Crew

We were on a road trip with family from Stockholm and were staying in Varberg. There were 4 adults and 2 children. The restaurant was promoted as a relaxing place right on the beachfront with simple but tasty food. We booked a table as it was mid summer and is close to a popular camping site. We had a great table and such an easy place to take children. You order food and drinks inside and they sing out your number and you collect your food. We all ate pizzas. Delicious. Service great. Relaxed atmosphere. Great position and view.Afterwards we walked back along the beach, caught the road 'train' back to Varberg.Highly recommended.
