Okay, we come here numerous times a month. This October, of course pizza both skinny and Sicilian, California cheese steak, bacon chicken ranch wrap ( which is the bomb), Italian wedding soup (absolutely delicious), chicken Stromboli ( which my husband loved) hot wings, everything is reasonable priced and all is good. Wait staff awesome. Shout out to Jennifer, she is wonderful....

Based on all of the excellent reviews, I expected better. The atmosphere is typical take-out pizza joint with a bunch of eat-in booths. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait time for our food was long. The pizza was good but not exceptional. The calamari appetizer was chewy and greasy. The baked clams likewise dry and chewy. The veal parmesan tasted like frozen imitation veal patties doused with tomato sauce and a bunch of melted mozzerella cheese. The meatballs were good. The pasta was average and the sauce tated like pure tomato puree. Prices were very modest.

We stopped in one evening after going to a wine bar and I must say that this place took me by surprise. I love old buildings and refurbished places that try to retain some of the ambience of the original place, and Yard of Ale hit the spot- a great vibe that made me feel like I was in a cross between an old English Pub and a 20's era speak easy. There is a great game room in the basement- pool tables as well as darts! where you can take your drinks or food- it would make a great Bachelor Party location if you're into "fun" more than "frolic".The food was good- not great, but solid and reasonably priced. The service was a bit slack, but I think that the issue was probably more due to server boredom on a VERY slow night rather than incompetence...anybody can go into brain burp mode when there is nothing going on. I think I'd rather have mediocre slow service than the other extreme of so much attention that you can't have two bites between check-ups.This is a really neat place and deserves some good press, so I'm recommending them.

I placed a good size order the other night which included a large extra cheese pie, an order of pasta with marinara sauce, a Caesar salad and a Italian sub. I requested to have the order delivered. Much to my surprise the order came in about 20 minutes. The pie had so much cheese more than any other pizzaria. The pasta dish was very tasty. The salad was excellent and quite large for the price. The sub was tasty and plentiful. They also have tables if you desire to eat in. I strongely recommend this pizzaria.

Had a pizza and garden salad here. I had to explain what a margarita pizza was, and the salad at $7.95 was overpriced for what it was. We came near the end of the shift, so perhaps that explains the lack of friendliness on the part of the staff. Crust okay. No fresh garlic or basil. Adequate is the best description.

if you have "pizza" in your name, it ought to be delicious --- and this was! thin & crisp crust, wonderful sauce and lots of cheese; we loved it. the menu is huge: lots of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees.we also tried the garlic bread which was great also.

I saw many times while vacationing in the Poconos. My daughter and I enjoyed pizza takeout there a few years ago. This time Iâm vacationing alone and I decided to try out their eggplant Parmesan entree, and it was delicious! Iâm going back tomorrow for their Tuesday pizza special, and Friday for 25% off everything for their 25 anniversary month of March. I love it!

Terrible pizza served cold The service is not much better. The staff seems to really hate their jobs. They also have a play area in there for the kids which is horribly filthy! No one ever checks on it or cares. One child urinated on the slide and I told an employee and they said OK. Yet nothing was done. It was not immediately closed or anything. Children continued to slide down it. It was horrifying. The bathrooms are just as filthy. The sub sandwiches are tasteless on stale bread and everything else they serve under the glass looks at least a day or more old. The place should be closed by the health department.

This pizza place is right across from Wyndham Shawnee. We ordered from there because they delivered to our unit. We ordered a pizza and Caesar salad. The salad was very fresh and very good. However the pizza left a lot to be desired. It is definitely thin crust pizza, with hardly any crust around the edge.
