We used to enjoy Gyros from La Strada. We liked the broasted chicken too, but now it is just a disappointment. The last couple times we tried it they burned the broasted chicken horribly and it was dry. We couldn't eat it. The gyros were a mess as if they had been thrown together by monkeys during a fit of rage. Sadly, another good place failing because the staff just doesn't care.

We chose speros often because they are down the street. But they are notorious for not having our order ready. We will call it in and go to pick up, and just wait. We;ve had to remind them we are there! Their food is so-so. We often get the chicken parm sub, steak and cheese subs, or the greek salad. The steak and cheese subs are good though - I get it toasted with onions. The greek salad is okay - very big but too expensive. The boulevard pizza shop is almost next door and just as good.

Spent the day in Providence and checked out several restaurants downtown that were promising but were either overpriced or couldnât seat us. Out of town we search TripAdvisor and found this wonderful restaurant that had fantastic reviews and we were so glad that we stopped! Upon the attentive server, Caraâs, recommendation I ordered the baked Scrod with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. It was wonderful, ample portions, and the Greek salad on the side was terrific. My husband had steak tips which were perfectly done. Wish we had room for desert. If we lived closer we would certainly be back.Thank you very much for your kind words! We truly appreciate them. We are so glad you had a great time during your visit and we truly hope to see you again very soon! We have visited Pizzeria Romana for dinner a few times. Each time we have had mixed feelings about the visit. Parking is a huge hassle, the dining are is VERY cramped, but the food is usually good so we always debate whether it is worth it to go again. We tried Take Out and were greatly disappointed. We decided to try a lunch visit to see if that would be better. OH MY GOODNESS, what a disappointment. We were seated promptly because there were very few people there, but we were ignored for quite a long time. Just when we decided to leave a waitress came over with water. We asked a couple questions about the menu items and she just walked away. After another long wait someone else came over to take our order. We ordered sandwiches from the lunch menu. They came with soup. By soup, they mean a lot of water with a ton of beans, but there might be something else mixed in there at some point. The sandwiches were cold even though the menu described 'melted' cheese on each of the sandwiches. The bread was hard; even harder and more burnt than the cold bread they brought to the table after we ordered. We certainly won't do lunch at Pizzeria Romana again. It is sad, this place has great potential, but they just can't seem to get a good wait staff or consistently present the service and food quality one would expect from the owners of this and many other restaurants in the area. Disappointed on every level.

Ricos has great subs! They are always fresh and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. For pizza though, I'd go to Big Red.

After a few beers at a local pub, We had the house special and 10 buffalo wings with a side of blue cheese delivered to our room at the Holiday Inn express in plainville.Pizza and wings were delivered steaming hot.Wings breaded. Very tasty.Blue cheese was dressing pack. Ok I guess.Pizza was excellent but the crust was a little under cooked. Overall very good.

Since we discovered this restaurant a few months ago, it has quickly become on of our family's favorites.Everything we try has a little extra pop of flavor, a note of seasoning-- just a little better than the usual Middle Eastern fare. Service is friendly and prices are good, especially considering the quality.
