I have bee to several of these locations within the GTA over the years. Best pizza I have ever had at this location. It was freshly made as it just cane out of the oven. Had a veggie slice but lot's of other type of pizzas to chose from. Only thing I didn't like was they tried to upsell something as I just told them I only wanted a veggie slice only. Beware of this when you go to this location so other than this the customer service was great. Places to sit down to read the newspaper.

Pizza Pizza, Pizzaville, Dominos, Puzza Nova, Little Caesars, 241 Pizza, Toppers = all the same, different box. Ordered 2 specialty pizza's from Toppers today. On Tuesday's, it's $14 for a large ten-slice specialty. Nothing really special about this place that distinguishes it from the the other chain delivery pizza joints in town. If you are looking for something a little more authentic, go check out the pizza oven at Longo's Supermarket. For my money, probably the best take out pizza option in town! We usually get our take away za from there but today we just needed something fast and convenient to come to the house. 2 pizzas came out to $28 plus taxes and a $3 delivery charge that automatically gets added to your bill, the total came out to $35. They said 40 minutes to deliver but it actually came in about a half hour. Pizza is not great and really doughy (like pizza pizza). It was ok, but probably wouldn't order from here again.

We ordered the party size with a side order of potato wedges. Service was fast and friendly. The pizza was tasty and reasonably priced. We would order again because it is a close and convenient location. Thanks pizzaville! Please leave a helpful vote if you find this review useful thx .

We have tried every pizza place in Milton over and over and Portabellos had the best pizza in town 10 years ago and it still does in my opinion. Good dough, good sauce and good cheese.. It won't compete with the cheap places in town for price, but if you want good quality Pizza they wont disappoint. My favourite is the Margherita Pizza. I order it once a month.

Vito’s Pizza and Wings

Reviewed By Old-Eye

Decided to check out Vito’s Pizza and Wings after checking out several online “Top 10” lists for “Best Pizza and Wings places in Milton”. Although we have lived in Milton for almost 8 years now and have checked out most of the restaurants and take out food joints that consistently showed up on a lot of these lists, Vito’s was one that we had yet to try. The storefront is located in a plaza at the end of Ontario Street and Steele, in a nondescript plaza that houses several other food eateries, a money mart and a convenience store. Vito’s is exclusively a take out place and there is no in house seating. We placed our order for pickup at around 530 and was told it would be ready in about 35 minutes. We ordered the special deal as advertised on their website, which included 2 large pizzas with three toppings each, 24 wings (about 5lbs), 2 dipping sauces and 6 cans of pop for $49.99 before taxes. Based on what other reviewers had posted about their wings and pizza on this very site, we were optimistic that this was perhaps the one gem in the Milton take out food scene that we had overlooked and had been been sorely missing from our lives since we moved here almost a decade ago. After picking up our meal and getting it home and finally digging in, we were expectedly underwhelmed.Firstly, Vito’s is a mom and pop, family owned business. In spite of the ethnic appropriate name (or rather stereotypical name) for a pizza joint, the owners are NOT Italian unless “Vito” got a serious tan and decided to forgo his Calabrese accent for a south-Asian one. The family is nice enough and clearly work hard and are proud of their business and the product they serve. While being Italian is not necessarily a requirement or necessary quality to make good pizza or Wings, there is nothing really “authentic” about this place that would set it apart from the chain take out pizza joints like pizza pizza, dominoes, Pizzaville, 241, toppers, little caesars, etc. Toppings are fairly run of the mill and do not differ or stray from what you would get on an ingredient list at any of the other big name franchises. If you are looking for things like buffalo mozzarella or rapini or serano ham or other somewhat “exotic”, non-traditional ingredients, this is not the place. Vito’s is Top 40 which is perfectly fine but If you are expecting a genuine Napoli style Pizza, you are not going to find it here. The pizza was very doughy and chewy and reminded me of the type of pie you would get at any of those other places listed above. While I know that I could have opted to have gotten the thin crust, I’m not sure it would have made a difference. For my money, I still stand by the pizzas being served up at the Longos Kitchen, and tend to use their pizza as the measuring stick for take out Pizzas in Milton. All said and done, Vito’s Pizza reminds me of the slices your kids get for lunch on pizza day at school. The wings (which was what we were really craving) were actually baked, not deep fried. Now for the health conscious diner who is trying to watch their cholesterol, I can see how this type of preparation might be enticing. Admittedly, the wings were quite large and much bigger than your standard take out fare. However, when I eat wings, I want them to be artery hardening, grease laden, and crispy and right out of the fryer. Vito’s wings were much softer and after the short ride home, were more “steamed” than what they would have been, had they just come out of the oven. The texture was much softer and mushier than how I prefer to eat my wings. Juicy but definitely nowhere close to “the best wing hands down” that I’ve ever eaten that other posters rave about in their own reviews of this place. They offer a variety of sauces which you can either have on the side or directly on the wings. We got the medium and honey BBQ and they both tasted and looked almost exactly the same. Overall, not much that separates Vito’s from any of the chain, big name franchise pizza joints. Would I come back again? Probably not, given that I can get pretty much the same fare for relatively the same price from the Pizzaville or Pizza Nova down the street from my house.

Main Street Italian Eatery

Reviewed By Old-Eye

We have eaten here several times and the quality of the food is always outstanding. Place is owned and operated my an Italian family who do everything from cooking the food to actually staffing and working the storefront. It is more a takeout restaurant with a hot table than it is a sit down restaurant with only a handful of tables for customers if they wanted to eat in. Menu is quite varied with a number of items to choose from however don't be intimidated by the fact that there are no prices posted anywhere. Just place your order and have faith that they aren't going to gouge you with a ridiculous bill. Prices are always very reasonable and you get great value for what you order. Bring cash with you though because they don't take debit and you are forced to use their inhouse ATM machine and pay the service charge if you come in with no money in your pocket (unfortunate, because in this day and age, most consumers rarely carry cash nowadays!). The food itself is all fresh made and made in house. Nono gets up at the crack of dawn and actually bakes all the donuts himself every morning, and these delectable treats are 10x better than anything you could ever get at Tim's or some other donut franchise chain. While a chocolate glazed or sprinkled donut aren't exactly considered traditional "Italian" fare, the sandwiches and pasta are definitely authentic. We usually get veal or chicken Parmesan loaded with all the fixings (mushrooms, onions, peppers) and the portions are massive. Pizza as well as a variety of pasta dishes ranging from tortellini to penne to lasagna are all available as well. We popped in on a Friday afternoon after swimming lessons at the neighbouring Milton Leisure centre around the corner around 6pm. The restaurant is actually located at the busy interesection of Main/Thompson across from the Superstore plaza. It is in a little, very unassuming, strip plaza with limited parking, sandwiched inbetween some retail stores and a south Asian grocery store in what looks like a building more designated for industrial use. Parking is very limited and tight and to actually get in and out of the lot during the height of the evening rush requires some patience and maneuvering. We ended up getting two chicken Parmesan sandwiches (they had run out of veal!), a small order of tortellini in a rose sauce, a slice of pepperoni pizza and three large donuts to feed my family of four (2 adults and 2 kids ages 4 and 6) who were all famished after a long week. All for about $30. Got our food home and was not left disappointed or hungry. The paper take out bags that they came in had some heft and weight behind them and the portions are always generous, especially in the evening. We actually had leftovers to eat the next day! While I wouldn't go as far to say they are "the best" Italian sandwiches I've ever eaten, I will say without hesitation that they are the best in Milton. They are definitely a step up from a a comparable priced sit down chain restaurant like East Side Mario's or a Boston Pizza and are definitely better than any of the family feed bag pizza joints like pizza pizza or pizzaville. In fact, they are much better than most of these chain Italian Sandwich places like On A Bun and dare I say it, California Sandwiches, just because of the value and size of the portions. Most of all, what separates the Main Street Italian Eatery from its competition is the customer service and friendliness of the staff. Super nice and patient and people who genuinely care about their product and are proud of what they are serving. Overall, great bang for your buck and a hidden gem in the otherwise drab Milton take-out scene.
