You always know what you getting here. In the morning they sever breakfast. I've been here in the evening too, and the food is purely Italian. The music is too except for Dean Martin singing 'That's Amore' (at least the song is Italian)

I live 5 minutes from Michaelangelo's and never thought to try it until I found a good deal through Groupon. Very small dining area with not much decor. Was told upfront that the wait would be an hour for pizza but we decided to stay anyways. Ordered mushrooms for an appetizer. Nothing special. Deep fried but large portions. Pizza actually came within 40 mins. Having grown up in the Racine area with a lot of good pizza joints like Dino's and Wells Brothers I am very particular about thin crust pizza. Michaelangelo's is a solid thin crust pizza. Sauce is a little on the sweet side, toppings are plentiful, but the crust is outstanding. Very airy, crisp crust that has a nice crunch, almost like eating pizza on crackers. Only thing keeping it from a true 4 star pizza is there was a little too much am cheese. Otherwise good, solid pizza.

The girlfriend and I were looking for a new pizza joint and found this place. We ordered the wonton mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which were delicious and two calzones for dinner. The calzones were HUGE, very crunchy , and very good! We will be back to try the pizza!

Went there for an authentic Friday Night Fish Fry. Got the fried lake perch. FABULOUS. It's a bar, so the atmosphere is non-existent. Loud and local. Food is fantastic.Thanks for this review! We wouldn't be a Wisconsin bar without a Fish Fry! We hope to see you back for another, soon.

We got pizza delivered to our room after a long drive from the other side of WI. Our food was hot and fresh! Crust was a bit limp, we ordered hand tossed. The veggies on my pizza were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing! Will definitely order from here again when I'm in the area. Delivery driver was clean and friendly.

Wow. I just love this place. It starts with super friendly staff who are always upbeat, happy, attentive, helpful, etc. And then there's the food. Best Sunday ham and rolls around. Super good pizzas (they even have frozen pizzas and will give you fresh ingredients to help augment what's already on the pizza). Really great fresh made hot sandwiches. Make sure to bring cash as credit cards are not accepted.

I am sad that being close to this place I never looked into this direction! I finally got to know about this original Italian restaurant from a college from work and brought a business guest... OMG! Outstanding food quality and extraordinary service by Joaquin! Italian is my favorite and I spend a lot of time each year in Italy to tell a difference, and this place is not only nice outside and inside but its food taste and quality is out of this world! The lasagna, chicken parmigiana, capresse salad, garlic bread and chocolate cake were delicious, not to mention their Italian Montepulciano red wine . Yes I do recommend this place!

We had another excellent dinning experience with friends at Ricardo's in February.The service, menu and atmosphere are always wonderful. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Greendale.
