My husband and I were driving through Brookland in search of a place to eat lunch in route from Long Island to GA. We were going to stop at a diner until we spotted Connies. We each had Sicilian pizza and it brought back memories of being a child in the 60s eating there. Just one word⦠Delicious!!!!

I always come here when I'm in town. I always wait for the pizza.... but 2 hours is crazy. The pizza is great! Really. But 2 hours waiting for a pizza is crazy. Something is really wrong with how they are managing the place without the father. This is the first time I don't give 5 stars... only because of the waiting time.

La Villa is consistently good! They start you off with their signature focaccia and onion bread, delicious. The special of eggplant parmigiana was very good, although we were disappointed that they ran out of calamari one night. The house wine was reasonably priced and the service very good. Be prepared to wait for a table at peak times, since this is a very popular neighborhood restaurant. Parking is no problem in the adjacent lot. Highly recommend!

Went here for lunch with my partner after the Aquarium. Canât really comment on their pizzas as we both had large salads, me their house salad and she a Caesar salad. Both were large and very good. The pizzas looked good but we were not very hungry. Next time we go back we will try it. No slices, only whole pies and they donât accept credit cards. Overall very good

When in Brooklyn, please try! This is hands down one of my favorite Neapolitan style pizzas. I always try to make time to have some Totonnoâs pizza when in NY. Highly recommend. Keep in mind- they close when they run out of dough so I suggest going early always. Theyâve closed the doors 5 minutes after weâve come in to their establishment a couple of times so I wouldnât risk going late afternoon.

We went for a birthday celebration dinner. It was dark and the beautiful view could not be enjoyed. We had the same server that we had before, but on this visit, he wasnât so great. He was late with appetizer plates, he didnât check up on us. The icing on the cake was when he got one of the orders completely wrong, and we had to wait another 15 minutes before It came. The food was good, but thereâs good food at other places too.

Its got pizza, ice cream, sugar and fried food... what more could you ask for. Offers sandwiches and assorted other bakery items. Good for local fare. Open in the Summer season only. Great for a quick bite or late night treat.

Stop in here for pizza every time Im in the Brooklyn, NYC area. This time we took two whole plain pies to go. Best Sicilian pie/ slices around. So good, I even ate leftovers cold for breakfast.
