Reviewed By ana_maria0070We stayed here for 3 nights and almost everything was great: the room, the service, the food, the atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, spacious and they have a big bathroom. The food really really tasty. What I didn't like was the noise from the restaurant and from the other rooms, that I could hear in the room. Plus the fact that we were 3 different families with babies and in the restaurant there is only a baby chair.

Reviewed By Florin NWe were lucky to find this place and booked one night. The room we got was spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom was very nice as well. The dining and the outdoor grill and coffee tables are extraordinary. Would definitely recommend this location and would go there again in a heart beat.

Reviewed By DoruPGreat surprise. Starting with location, room, bathroom, everything exceeded my expectation. Room was large, cozy, with a large and comfortable bed, a balcony with a great view and quiet toward Bacau city. Breakfast must be improved.

The restaurant - an option if you are not very demanding

You can get a frozen shnitzel without warning (it is not marked in the menu), but you can also get a Romanian authentic home made called Tochitura - very tasty indeed. My advice is to ask about every dish, chek if it is bought in the supermarket or home made and then make your choice!

Avoid at any cost the location, it's terrible!
Reviewed By daniellam1404Avoid the location as much as you can! Breakfast is a joke, 2 lei a slice of bread, 2 lei a teaspoon (literally!) Of jam to buy, 2 lei a "portion of butter" so small that you only get half a slice of bread, 16 lei a coffee. Going over this, when we wanted to go to the pool (50 lei entrance for adults, 30 lei entrance for children), I found out that "anyone who enters the pool, even if he does not use it, must pay". Since the children are not allowed alone at the pool, we wanted 1 adult to enter the premises just to supervise them, WITHOUT using in any way the pool, sunbeds or anything else there. It was not possible, the adult had to pay 50 lei just because he breathed the same air as the pool. At this price, you do not even receive towels, you are required to come with them from home. The cameras look much worse than the presentation images, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I made the mistake of lifting the toilet lid and it was terrible. The light in the room is diffused, probably just to hide the mess. Since the toilet paper was running out from the moment we arrived, I asked for it to be supplemented, but I didn't receive it until I left. Although we were told from the moment we arrived that we could not use the billiard room later than 24:00 "because there are guest who want to rest", but there was no problem that all Saturday in the hotel restaurant takes place a baptism party with the manele playing at maximum that even the walls were shaken.

Reviewed By Adriana VThe pension is absolutely astonishing! It is located on a quiet street, has a large and welcoming courtyard. It has a gazebo and barbecue. The room is very clean and the bedding smells great. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen. The host is a wonderful person, he gave us recommendations to visit the surroundings. Everything is tastefully arranged and very attention to detail. I highly recommend!

Reviewed By ludortravelClean rooms, very nice staff. There is also a restaurant, with a quite extensive menu and a decent bar. The location is good, few minutes driving from Durau (where some hiking trails start) and close to Bicaz lake.

Amazing location, welcoming owners
Reviewed By Ada VLocated on a hill, the view is just amazing, you can really find your peace here and relax watching the sunset (and the kids running around in that huge yard). We had the entire house rented for the weekend since we traveled together as a big group. The host was nice and made us all feel really welcome. All the rooms were neat and tidy and the seating area very spacious. We had at our disposal a huge professional fully-equipped kitchen. It was previously agreed they will cook for us one dinner and one lunch and I can say both were delicious. You can have a truly relaxing holiday here, having some promenade in the surrounding area is simply divine.
