As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 33,342, representing an increase of 7,026 (26.7%) from the 26,316 counted in the 2000 Census. It is part of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area. Oviedo is known for its historic houses and buildings, as well as its population of chickens that roam the downtown area. The level of experience and skill was only matched by the service and attitude. Capt. Kevin was awesome and I knew he would help get gators in the boat and he delivered. Can't say enough and I'll definitely be going back to him next year.

New ownership of the Twin Rivers Golf Course by the City of Oviedo has breathed new life into an exceptionally well thought out course which boasts a championship layout. Down To Earth, which has an excellent reputation for successfully operating and maintaining golf course properties in The Villages and other areas, has professionally rebuilt all the bunkers, provided the proper drainage needed to both the bunkers and the course, reseeded, resodded, and repaired the greens, and added additional irrigation. New carts were added as well as golf bikes! Needless to say, the course has improved dramatically over the past year. Tee times are managed well, and check in is a breeze. There are several challenging holes with ample water hazards, bunkers, and large live oaks to keep you on your toes. The natural feel of Florida surrounds you. It's truly an enjoyable experience. The clubhouse has a variety of traditional fare, and the staff was great and accommodating.
