Lewis Creek Trail

This is a nice hike through the trees, lots of shade and well marked. We decided to do the longer hike up to Red Rock Fall first and spend a lot of time in the water and eating lunch at the top of the falls, it was a bit crowded but everyone did their best not to crowd each other. On the way back we did the Corlieau Falls, but that was steep and the kids were tired so we didn't spend much time here, but wow that's a pretty fall.

It was a beautiful hike that had posts with information about the native plants and the Native Americans that lived there.... short hike (.46miles, according to my watch). Park is limited, but worthwhile it.

These guys are doing a fantastic job of making their business as safe as possible during COVID times. And let’s face it, boating with your family is the perfect “distanced” activity! BOOK IN ADVANCE - especially if you’re renting a boat during the summer. You can book online with no pre-payment and a very generous 24 hour cancellation policy. Yes it’s expensive but any boat rental is. They are taking lots of COVID precautions during check-in process, the young people that are working in the store and on the dock are polite and well-trained. Well done guys. Bass Lake is super fun, warm and the perfect summer activity. Crowded on the weekends of course, so try for mid-week if you like things a bit more mellow. We’ll be back!
