Formerly a lawless frontier town, known for wild saloons and vigilante justice, Laramie is now a quiet college town, popular with outdoor enthusiasts as well as history buffs. Over twenty sites in and around Laramie are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Wyoming Territorial Prison, which once held Butch Cassidy. The town is conveniently located between the Laramie Range and the Medicine Bow Mountains, making the area a paradise for mountain bikers, climbers and campers.

Private horse back rides on a working cattle ranch in the Centennial Valley of Wyoming. Activities, 2hr ranch ride through the mountain pasture or Moving of cattle in a management Intensive grazing system.
A wonderful experience out on the range. Even as an inexperienced rider, I felt welcome and right at home within 5 minutes. We did the cattle drive to make sure we had the true cowboy experience. It was worth the time and some great conversation and horse riding. The whole staff was welcoming, friendly and encouraging. Highly recommended for a morning or afternoon escape from the hustle and bustle of the times.
