I run on the Norwottuck Rail Trail. It's perfect: clean, scenic, mostly flat-flatty-flat-flat. This trail, this route, this option is one of the reasons I'm so happy to live in the Connecticut River Valley.

We live about 1/4 mile from the Manhan Rail Trail. It is an everyday resource that we love. It is a wonderful place to walk our English Setter, Sandie. If you walk your dog it must be on a leash at all times and you really need to clean up after your pet. The trail provides “poop” bags in a couple locations. I also run on the trail 4 days a week. It is so enjoyable to be away from vehicle traffic. The trail is well maintained, much of the work is done by volunteers.
