Whether you’re exploring Vermont’s covered bridges, visiting Quechee Gorge or skiing at Killington, you’ll find Vermont to be picture-perfect. If you’re the outdoorsy type, you’ll love Vermont. In winter, of course, there’s plenty of skiing and snowboarding. In the warmer months, however, Vermont offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and boating. If you enjoy boating, swimming and fishing, a vacation rental on Lake Champlain might be perfect for you.

Our family of eight just got back from the Inn to Inn Hiking tour. What a great way to experience Vermont! Each Inn was unique with great food and there were several hiking options each day, giving us enough flexibility to schedule a horseback trail ride and cider tasting along the way. The hikes were wonderful with waterfalls and great views, and best of all, the planning was all taken care of for us.

We’ve completed the GMAC the last 7 years with another couple, and have enjoyed the Vermont nature, challenging clues, time with friends, and of course dinner/drinks at the 1846 tavern. 2020 was no exception! With minor adjustments for Covid19 (face masks when inside or around other people, activities more local to the town of Dover, and lots of hand sanitizer!), this years adventure was another fun weekend with the right balance of adventure and time relaxing. For those that have never tried the challenge, I highly recommend going with another couple, or overall team of 4, and attending on the weekend when other teams are around town too. For repeat adventurers, this years hikes were not as strenuous as some previous years, assuming you don’t misread any clues and do some extra hikes...

Bingham Falls

Reviewed By Millytravels - Bradenton, United States

The kids wanted to jump off cliffs and we wanted to let them do it somewhere safe! The smaller ledge into the swimming hole was perfect for everyone! They jumped for hours and had a blast doing it! There was a rock for us to perch and watch them to ensure safety! We also explored the creek area and had so much fun! We went on Sunday at 6, and nobody was there! We shared the hole with 2 people for a bit, but besides that nobody! Vacation win! (We heard people jump from higher up... that did not seem safe! ????) The hike is pretty straight down and back up. Stone steps that could be slippery when wet, but easily navigated. The falls and area are stunning! Make a stop!
