We visited on the 25th August as a damp day in Cumbria and we had great fun Three adults and a teenager and we worked well as a team to unlock the door We did the Surelock Holmes room which was well organised and interesting mix of clues Definitely recommend this for an alternative to the lakes and castles!

I took my children for lunch on Xmas Eve, youngest is 24 yrs , we all had different meals but all 5 of us were very happy, service was great and food was fantastic, no starters tho, so we asked if we could have the prawns and some nachos to share as a started , which was no bother to them, would definitely go back, faultless and not expensive , keep up the good work and a good choice of beer too .

I actually won Sunday Dinner for two on Facebook. Amazing food, very friendly and we have booked a table for next Sunday. I think we will be visiting here more often. Thanks Barry and the rest of the team for making our first visit to your amazing place a great one ????????

Cozy and binou ,bohemian cocktail bar just off the main hangouts in Carlisle Friendly staff who know their drinks Best Old-Fashioned I've had in a long while,other half imbibed in a lovely amaretto sour Decent music so whats not to like?

This place never ceases to amaze me. This is the third time I have been here for lunch on a day out in Carlisle, the food has been top notch every time. It is reasonably priced, cooked to perfection and the friendly service compliments the visit. On this occasion it was still as perfect, no wonder we always return. Good music in the background, fabulous surroundings, lovely staff and great food and drink, what else could you ask for
