Somebody said it only takes half a day, well we got there soon after opening, using the complimentary shuttle bus service, and stayed till closing time!. Probably the best 'zoo' experience we've had with the superb interaction possible with the giraffes, elephants and lemurs plus the bird show too which gave us the opportunity to hold the birds and take photographs. Everything was clean and well presented, the only sad animal was the lion cub but there's probably a back story to why he was by himself. The safari was well run with commentary in Vietnamese and English and the animals came very close to the bus with a brown bear even being fed by the driver. Plenty of places to get refreshments which we needed - it was a hot day - and reasonably priced. Overall a very good day out.

This beach is lovely. Is is beautiful and clean (for Vietnamese standard). The place is not polluted with too many bars and restaurants so ma kids had plenty of sand to run around and have fun. It is very interesting to see the sea live around the rocks but next time we will have our water shoes on so avoid getting hurt on the rocks. This beach is great for snorkel ????, to relax or even to swim in the clear water.

So May Rut is more picturesque than Sao Beach. It has white sand, pristine clear water, and a little restaurant inhabited by a local family. It is one of the most popular islet here, so expect to find many tourists on sunny days.

Gham Ghi islet is located in An Thoi archipelago about 10 kilometer from An Thoi harbor. This is one of the best place to snorkeling on phu quoc island with very clear water and many beautiful reef. Also the beach here is very beatiful with soft sand and amazing views to many rocks, small tropical forest. The only way to come here is by boat.
This is one of the best snorkeling spot on the island, Also very popular, pretty much all island boat tours stop here. There are a few Instagrammable spots, especially on the rocks overlooking the sea. You can expect to find a decent range of coral species here, including hard acropora corals, montipora, staghorn, and some other LPS and soft corals. Anemones with clownfish are also common, as well as Christmas trees.

We joined a kayaking trip with OnBird here to explore another beach located at the beyond side of the cape. Really beautiful sunset that we caught on kayak as we drifted the kayak with the current on a super calm sea. What a beautiful moment.

First, Nam Du is not really accessible if you don’t speak Vietnamese well. If you go be prepared for only Vietnamese. Second, during COVID19 foreigners are getting extra scrutiny. Third, there are only 2 cars available if you need transportation, otherwise it is scooter. Either you drive yourself or you have a driver and you ride on the back of the scooter. With all that said, if you really want to experience VN and get off the mainstream and tourist path then this place is it. It is beautiful, rustic, and a ton of fun. A local boat can take you to one of the smaller islands where there are beautiful beaches and even more rustic. There is some trash on the beaches but comparable to any beach in Asia. Had a great time and you should come with a VN person.

Great fun! Was funny to do as a group mud bath was really smooth and silky and good for skin. Got to use all other swim facilities also afterwards. Nice service and cheap!! Good for an afternoon of weathers not too good for a change of activity!
