Fardagafoss is located close to the road to Seydisfjördur, a few kilometres out of Egilsstadir. There is a hike of about 30 Minutes from the parking area up to the waterfall. On the way you'll have a nice view to Egilsstadir and the lake Lagarfljot.

Really cozy camping spot by Lagarfljót in Hallormsstaðarskógur. Sheltered forest area with nice footpaths in the forest - great for families with children.

Litlanesfoss

Reviewed By jazsacher - Bangkok, Thailand

I was totally mesmerized by the Litlanesfoss Waterfall. It was huge even from afar and the hexagonal volcanic rock columns on either side of the fall highlights the surreal nature of site. What makes this visit even more worthwhile is the fun hike leading up to Litlanesfoss. I found this waterfall much more satisfying to visit than it's taller neighbor Hengifoss which is further up the trail. This was an awe inspiring fall to visit and would recommend the visit trek and visit to anyone.

Waterfall Circle

This is without a doubt the best walk I’ve ever been on - the scenery is stunning, the walk the perfect length and just overall the best medication for the soul! Whilst there were hills there was also a lot of flat ground so not too difficult. We got some amazing pictures and would definitely love to do this walk again if we visit Iceland again.

Studlagil canyon

Reviewed By TheTravelingAuditor

If you access this canyon from the east side it is a 4km hike through picturesque scenery including a waterfall. It is also much easier to get down to the canyon for the best pictures. The hike leading up to the canyon made it all the more rewarding and a memorable experience.
