The walls contain ceramic depictions of stories that tell of Kuwait's history. The main building is comprised of 3 main attractions: the Aquarium, Discovery Place and IMAX Theater.

It’s on the see , lovely ???? place good for everyone family and friends can spend lovely ???? time there is cinema with huge screen ???? , there is cafe and parfumerie shop and nice ???????? good aquarium and when we go outside we can see v.huge old travel kuwaity ship ????

A really beautiful collection of intricate and ancient Calligraphy in books and art, in a lovely setting. Friendly staff too, one of the absolute highlights of my trip. It is a little outside the town centre but well worth the taxi ride.

The Mirror House is now open by PRIOR APPOINTMENTS! Tours by appointment only! The Only House in the World entirely covered with Mirror Mosaic by a single artist! The Mirror House, also called, The Khalifa & Lidia Qattan Art Museum, is the private residence of the Pioneer Kuwaiti Artist, Khalifa Qattan, and his wife Lidia, both artists whom have opened their house and art galleries to share their unique art with people from around the world. The artist and creator of the Mirror House, Lidia Qattan, still gives personal tours of her magical house, which is in reality a wonderful journey of exploration. Please note that this is a Private Museum and tour appointments are only possible by advanced reservation. Due to hygiene reasons, the Mirror House has a NO SHOES policy.

This is by far the best art museum in the Middle East. It is simply amazing. Authentic, genuine Kuwaiti artistic soul and mesmerizing art. God bless Lydia Al-Qattan, the most genuine and kind-hearted old lady. She is the true face of Kuwait ????????❤️

The Amricani Cultural Centre is one of the best museums in Kuwait. The museum covers artifacts from the region from ~7,000 BC onward. Some of what is impressive about this museum is the age of the artifacts and the sophistication in the design of those artifacts. For example, most bronze statues from the Ancient Roman Empire were melted down for other uses in subsequent times, such that few such metal statues remain. By contrast, this museum has a few metal statues from thousands of years prior to Ancient Rome. For example, the museum exhibits a large female metal statue of a goddess, a metal statue of a man pulling a bull, and a metal statue of a ram with a candelabra on top, just to name a few. The museum exhibits artifacts demonstrating sophisticated cultures in the region from many millennia ago. It is remarkable that these artifacts have lasted thousands of years. As another example, this museum has one of the oldest Persian rugs in the world. Also of note is an extensive collection of sophisticated jewelry pieces, often made of gold and/or other precious metals / stones. For example, the museum displays serpentine gold bracelets for a male ruler from many millennia ago. This museum is on par with the Freer-Sackler Galleries in Washington D.C. To review all pieces in detail, it could take a few hours. The museum’s exhibits are in both Arabic and English. There are no audio guides or pamphlets in Arabic or English. You may be able to arrange for an English or Arabic-speaking guide. For several hours in the day, the museum sees very few visitors. You may have this museum all to yourself.

Superbly done, enriched with information. And must visit in Kuwait. I went to kuwait on a family visit and this turned out to be a great surprise. The achitecture and layout is marvellous. A family can easily spend a whole day. It would have been really great if the authorities increase some more cafeteria.
