We will relive the history of Murshidabad where Mir Jaffar betrayed the Nawab of Bengal and The East India Company gained control of Bengal and eventually all of India. We will visit the site of the famous Battle of Plassey, Katra Masjid, the house of Siraj-ud-daula the Nawab, Mir Jaffar the traitor and Jagat Seth the most famous money lender of Murshidabad, the Imambara and the magnificent Palace of a thousand doors.

Our Kolkata experiance was conducted by a very engaging young man Abhishek Roy whose knowledge of the area and command of English was excellent. We started quite early and finished, at our request, around 4:30. Our tour included comercial district, St Johns church, various monuments, museums always with good detailed history. Lunch was at local restraunt with a varied choice of regional food. It was only my wife and self running out of steam that prevented more being revealed. Overall a very interesting tour. We had booked two tours from Let’s Meetup.We enjoyed the Heritage walking tour,the guide was very friendly & gave us a lot of information.If you have some free time and want to learn more interesting things about Kolkata you, should book this tour,the second tour was the evening walking tour at Park Street on Christmas Eve , we saw the beautiful decoration and beautiful lights. We highly recommend this company considering some of the limitations due to COVID-19. Overall , great tour and great staff.

Hi Sharma ji, I had planned this trip to make my first marriage anniversary memorable. Have made all bookings and waiting from more than 2 months. Because of drastic increase in covid cases in Delhi during divali and formers protest I was in big tension and in confusion whether to travell or not. It was at high risk and not sure about anything till the last minute. But starting from when I book the cab to last hour of our onboard to trip you made it flawless without small error. We were safe And didn’t face single issue throughout the trip. Our driver Dharmendra Sharma was very cool and Happy person. He took care of us a lot and he was very friendly and gave many suggestions while visiting monuments. His driving is awesome. I have reached Delhi Airport back with so much of Satisfaction and Happiness. Thank you so much for your wonderful service I will cherish this forever. Our tour guide was extremely patient and courteous while taking us to various places. He took out the time to explain the history and significance of each place and was very knowledgeable. We were able to explore each place with sufficient time and left with lot of valuable information about Kolkata and the history behind the historic landmarks. We were able to cover lot of places in the allocated time, we didn’t visit all the locations on the agenda however. The tour guide was friendly overall and was happy to accommodate our lunch request and drove us to the restaurant as well. Overall this was a fun way to get the feel of the city and its beautiful architecture. I recommend this tour. I think it would be nice to bring print out of kolkata map marking all the places that are planned for the day to know which direction the places are at.

We had a great driver - Manoj - who was very patient and amazing with us. Also Shubham who prepared the tour for us from the office. You guys did a great job and our experience in India will never be forgotten because of you.
