Salsa the night away in a smokin’ hot Miami club, or swing away at one of Kissimmee’s many premium golf courses. An airboat tour of the Everglades is an unforgettable adventure – just look out for alligators! Living Room Theaters

Living Room Theaters is a four-screen small theater multiplex. Prices are reasonable, seats are comfortable, and most of the films you can't see anywhere else. A real local treasure, but it's beginning to show signs of wear. Seats are wearing out, decor is fading. Still, an outstanding venue.

Jazz at The Hipp is amazing! Down in the basement, an ideal venue for these Monday evenings of musical magic, young musicians blend with maestros to delight discerning audiences. We caught music students from UF, joined on one amazing jam by their Professor (who happens to be a three times Grammy nominee). We'll try The Hipp upstairs sometime, but not at the expense of missing the jazz.

I do not mind spending a little more for a ticket and see a film if this theater. The seats are big and comfy and because there's limited seating I really enjoy the experience better. Also there is a 21 years old and over policy because alcohol is served so no kids :). Enjoy a drink before the movie in the beautiful bar area and then dinner or dessert prior to the film.

The waiters took our orders and service was quick. We had popcorn and a pitcher of Coke. Later we had a 10 inch pizza with two toppings. A great way to spend the evening. Tropic Cinema

Tropic Cinema is South Florida's only nonprofit multiplex cinema screening 1st-run indie, foreign and documentary films and Hollywood blockbusters every day. With 4 theaters, state-of-the art projection services and the best concessions stand anywhere (we serve wine and beer and drizzle our popcorn with 100% melted butter), it's no wonder Florida Monthly magazine named Tropic Cinema "Florida's Best Cinema" for four consecutive years.

Reviewed By JellyToast - Avon Lake, United States

We discovered Tropic Cinema when the last time we were in Key West (a little over 10 years ago.) We were excited to visit this theater again - we had a great time watching "Knives Out" there. The cinema is manned by volunteers (helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic.) It's not a megaplex and that's a big part of its charm. Every seat in the theater we were in had a small tag listing the person who donated the seat (same thing was true for the restroom.) You can feel the love in this building. They also serve popcorn with butter and a whole array of different toppings - quite the treat. Stopping here is a great way to beat the heat, get away from the crowds on Duval, and enjoy a good movie in a smaller setting. If you like movies, treat yourself to one here!
