Located inside the Steigenberger hotel courtyard. Great place for lunch or dinner with view of the stage for night shows. Tasty Lebanese food so bring your appetite. The meal starts with tasty bread plus 4 dipping sauces, all delicious and before you know it you are almost full to have your meal. Once the meal arrives it's so good that you will stuff yourself. I'm partial to the chicken dishes accompanied by vegetables and fries or garlic rice. We tried the beef shawarma but not as tasty as the chicken. The spicy seafood grill was really flavorful and left us wanting more. We spent a lot of time here during our 4 months in Luxor. Simple delicious food, friendly atmosphere, great service and gorgeous cats in abundance. Beautiful garden cafe with a tranquil relaxed atmosphere - perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink. Khaled is a wonderful host and always a joy to see him, his staff and the lovely pusscats. We will be back soon!

The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Friendly service and lovely view of the Nile. It's located a five minute walk from the ferry terminal on the West Bank, so easy to get to if you're staying on the East Bank, (which we were). We went back two nights in a row because we were so impressed. No alcohol served but bar next door so we had a drink first and then went for food!

OASIS PALACE restaurant is a real oasis for the gourmets in Luxor. Delicious food, extremely hygienic, highest level of warmth and hospitality, extremely reasonable price, awesome heritage ambiance. The building is 110+ years old. Much obliged by the hospitality of Mr Romane (the owner) and Mr Malak. When youâre in Luxor, if you donât visit this restaurant, youâll miss something as important as any historical place. Weâre overwhelmed and feeling fortunate to visit this place. This is just 2 minutes walk from the office of Luxor Governorate and 1 minute walk from river Nile.

Donât pay attention about the entrance.. it can be scary but once you are upstairs, you can appreciate the roof and the Nile view. We tried their special beef and the chicken and banana meals, it was the best lunch we had all over Egypt. The owners are kind, and itâs very cheap. You must go there is you are in the East bank.

while visiting the east and West Bank, we stopped in this restaurant as it was included in our tour. For the Egyptian standards I wasn't expecting the tasty and lovely food we had. I would recommend the lentil soup, delicious! And the staff absolutely nice and polite. The view of the river nile is just stunning!

As I've written before, This is one of my must-go places. Two enjoyable meals this trip.one solitary and one with friends.Ahmed was ever the congenial host & the food was fresh & hot.It was during the daily temps of 45C so I was careful to sit under a fan, but Ahmed quickly switched on one of the portable Air/Con blowers. OK, I had to trap the menus under the cutlery to stop them from flying away, but I wasn't going to complain!Very pleasant experiences

The food here was just amazing! The menu offers a wide range of traditional Egyptian starters and main dishes. I was also pleased to find several options for vegetarians and vegans. The staff is very professional and polite and speaks very good English. Ibrahim in particular is welcoming and friendly and speaks French very well. Prices are also amazing.. we had an lovely dinner for 2, for just about 10â¬, including 2 teas and desserts!! If you are looking for a nice traditional Egyptian restaurant in Luxor that is tourist-friendly, Sofra is the definitely the right place.
