Cuando esperaba tener una buena arrachera, me sirvieron una carne que la mitad del corte era puro nervio. No se pudo ni cortar con el cuchillo. La señalé...se la llevaron... luego vino alguien a ofrecerme un refresco para compensar. Y todavÃa me la cobraron..!

Modest place, but clean, with attentive staff and good regional cuisine. Your barbecue is top not to be missed, although they have other typical Mexican dishes are very good and plentiful. The prices are quite affordable. They have fresh waters of flavors very well made. A good place to have breakfast or lunch. This only 10 mins from the Mexico-Acapulco road

Los tacos de pastor,los alambres y las diferentes presentaciones son realmete muy buenas, yo he comido tacos en varios lugares pero los de Xochitepec son buenisimos estan a una media cuadra del palacio municipal y una señora me parece la dueña siempre grita: pasele,pasele...es muy mexicano y muy bueno la verdad me gustan mucho y cada ves que voy a Morelos voy hasta Xochitepec por estos tacos es un local pequeño pero la calidad y el sabor super las espectativas

Nice place with huge meals, a little bit warm and bugs tricking out of you but with a bug repellant your stay will be ok.Food is soo Mexican with a good variety to chose, just do not ask for the shrimp ' empanada'.

We were with a small group on a day trip from Mexico City and both major attractions in Cuernavaca were closed (the Cathedral for repairs and the Palace where Hernan Cortez lived was closed for for who knows why). So what we had left to do after the long trip from DF was lunch and shopping. We chose The House at the Las Casas B & B for lunch and it was fabulous. We were seated outdoors near the swimming pool. We were the only gringos; all the other patrons were Mexican Nationals dressed for business and that's always a good sign for the quality of the food, which proved to be true. Service was excellent and they had a great cocktail menu and a fine wine list.
