Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Puerto Morelos. Puerto Morelos, a peaceful village on the Mayan Riviera, is a place to experience the genuine Yucatan. Puerto Morelos makes an excellent base if you’re looking for someplace quieter than glitzy hotspots like Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Government eco-reserve designations protect the reef and mangroves—and the village itself—from development. Stopped here for dinner... although server was great the food was terrible and pretty bland. I had chicken enchiladas and the tomato base they were sitting in was tasteless. My husband ordered the Paella and it was basically a large pile of rice with a few pcs of assorted fish. Really not worth even writing about. We had started with the fried calamari which was tender but way over battered. After $700+ peso would of expected better based on other reviews. Would not recommend. If you are like me I want to enjoy and saviour every meal I eat.. this is not one of them.

I had the fish and cheese tacos, which to my delight were actually Grouper tacos. They were so delicious and my margarita was excellent too. Very basic seating outside wasn't the most comfortable, but I still enjoyed the ultra-casual vibe for lunch or dinner. Very friendly service too!

We are a tipical local seafood restaurant, worried about our friends satisfaction, thats why we only use the best quality products and ingredients. We offer a good variety of food: guacamole, shrimp quesadillas, fish fillet, ceviches and coctails, shrimps
Our family of 7 visited El Pesquero while on vacation. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Portion sizes are huge and prices are affordable. Shrimp cocktail was amazing and I don't normally even like shrimp! Grilled grouper and civiche also did not dissapoint. It is outdoors in a nice covered, patio area with plastic chairs and your feet in the sand. There are fans and a nice breeze. Highly recommend.

El Nicho is located right on the square in Puerto Morelos. They have indoor & outdoor dining, although it's really all open air. Great place for breakfast and people watching. Service is good, price is reasonable, and menu selections are plentiful. Very popular among both locals and tourists.

A reclaimed shipping container serving a globally-inspired menu of delicious, well-made, simple food and a tequila, mezcal and signature cocktail bar with ocean views.
We stumbled, thankfully, across this unpretentious storage container. On the recommendation of customers who had just been fed, we had the shrimp tacos. Nothing short of excellent. Washed down with some local beer and wine, and served by a very pleasant guy, make sure you pay them a visit if you find yourself in this lovely village.

We ate here, had coffee here, and then we stayed at the guest house. The food is fresh with many healthy options. The gazpacho was cool and refreshing on a hot day, and the juices and smoothies are fresh and with quality ingredients. The omelettes we had were well made and tasted great. We also had the spring rolls one day. It was a refreshing snack on a hot day.

The place where you will feel like at home while vacationing. Delicious organic coffee, fresh food and a smile will make you enjoy your stay more than you ever thought. Also, Lola y Moya is the place where you will find that special gift/handcraft you are
We enjoyed our breakfasts, lots of choices to select from. Strawberry smoothie was thick and tasty. Cocobanana frappe was rich with chocolate and banana flavor. Suizas was freshly prepared, a wonderful combination of enchiladas filled with scrambled eggs with a creamy green tomatillo sauce & melted Gouda cheese. Tarascos was great; two tortillas with two eggs over easy and a green sauce - served with a side of beans & ham. Service was excellent.
