This place is great!!! Great staff! Love the couches for a comfy vibe. Tons of tables to sit and eat. I got the James brown coffee which was amazing. My friend gets the drip and itâs different daily and great! The food looks good but we didnât have any! Lots of vegan options! Solid choice for a coffee with friends!!

We had a big group but got a back room that was perfect. The margaritas were really good. After two I thought it best to stop so I could successfully drive. The food is typical SoCal Mexican faire. I bet the tamales are made, frozen and thawed. The bar area looks good and the service was great.

We live in the neighborhood and food from Baja Mar has become the Friday norm for us. They deliver to us at home and the chicken nachos are absolutely delicious. My husband's favorite is the tacos al pastor. My son'ts favorite is the fish tacos (I'm a fan too). I love the fish, shrimp, and chicken tacos. Their roasted jalepeno peppers are also a nice treat. Their chicken flautas are also really good...I've never had anything from them that I didn't absolutely love. The best part is it is a small family owned and operated business and the pride in the food is in the taste! We also had them cater an family event and they were a huge hit--our family and friends raved about the "taco man."

It was getting a bit late for us for dinner and we stopped in because we had our hearts set on Mexican food. I had a carne asada tostada and my friend had chicken enchiladas. Neither dish was more than average. Everything was a bit on the bland side. I am sure there must be better Mexican restaurants in the area. We just didn't have the time to locate them. The staff was attentive.

Loved the service, the food, and the prices. Tableside guacamole is to die for. Huge drinks and huge portions make this restaurant a local favorite. Dine outdoors if you can. Just lovely!

Met some friends here for a snack. One of many dining choices on the street, they boast reduced (not by much) drink prices. Not a lot to pick from on the menu of bar food. Dining area is small but there is more space outside in back. Cordial server.Not much to report-good or bad. Doubt I will ever return. Too may other places that noteworthy.

If you are in Monrovia and like mexican food, I would recommend stopping by and having lunch and/or dinner. I bring family and friends here. The food is good and the wait is not too long. Their salsa is delicious!! The staff is very friendly. I would suggest ordering their homemade guacamole. Their carne asada burritos are delicious... I like it dry. If you don't feel like a burrito, their tacos (any type of meat) and soups are delicious.
