I like Fuzzy’s...on Tuesdays. That’s when the tacos are reasonably priced. Any other day, be ready to buy a combo or something other than tacos to get a decent amount of food for your bucks. Still, the prices are better than Torchy’s! Maybe we’re just cheap. My non-Tuesday favorite is the Veggie Fajita Burrito Bowl with the Chimchurri (sp?) sauce. At $7, it’s cheaper than three tacos, and you get more like five tacos worth of food. It’s nothing fancy, but a good healthy-ish meal.

We really enjoy this place when we come to Tyler. The food is really good, the service is good and everybody has been friendly. If you want a wide variety of food, try the Papacita’s dish. Be sure to bring your appetite because it is a huge serving. The fajitas are really good and the tamales are nice and moist and are also well flavored.

I had never been to ELCharro in Tyler. Several friends had told me that it wasn't so good, but today I was pleasantly surprised after going there and having lunch, to go. The presentation of the food was nice. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had a great experience. The Ana's Salad was delicious! The only issue I had was with the decor/atmosphere of the restaurant. Very basic, but clean. Try it! You just might like it!

My husband and I dined here for dinner, and we both had the chicken enchilada dinner at $10.00 per person. The presentation was very nice, but the food was average. The temperature of the food was just above warm. The restaurant itself is nice with a modern, open space. All of the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, we will not return since there are many other options in the city. Thank you for the feedback. We’re so sorry if your visit was anything less than amazing. If you could please send your contact information at [email protected] We would like a chance to contact you directly and learn more about your recent visit. Mercados has been in Tyler since I was very young. The quality of service and food has not declined during its long history. The ownership of this restaurant must have impeccable judgement choosing management to maintain this quality. Easily the best texmex food and environment in Tyler. Visited this site for breakfast after seeing good reviews. The service was great as the hostess greeted us immediately and the server was very attentive throughout the entire meal. However, the food was average at best-and a little cold. And the bathrooms were terrible - not clean at all! Will not be going back to this place.

We were wanting some good Mexican food * Wrong place to go. Ordered Flautas and Enchiladas the Flautas were maybe at the most 2" long no sauce no guacamole (these were not the appetizers but the meal) just 2 tine Flautas with lots of Jalapenos on a plate. Enchiladas has chicken no cheese in or on them. And they were cold / warm like that had been sitting out for a while **Gross. Paid way too much for what we got. Never Again. There are too many good places I will not try this one again

My mom and I eat at Abuelo’s every time we go to Tyler. The food is consistently delicious! I enjoy the three salsas you get with chips- there’s a mild red, a green sauce that’s slightly sweet with pineapple, and a spicy red. My mom ordered a margarita there- I only took a sip because I was driving- but it was THE BEST I’d ever tasted. It’s called the El Jefe. My favorite lunch item is the Tilapia Vera Cruz. Oh so good! Friendly service, great food- try it, you will love it!
