Ciudad del Carmen is located at 18°38′N 91°50′W / 18.63°N 91.83°W / 18.63; -91.83 on the southwest of Carmen Island, which stands in the Laguna de Términos on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. As of 2010, Ciudad del Carmen had a population of 169,466, up from the 2005 census of 154,197. In July 2006 Ciudad del Carmen celebrated its 150th anniversary as a city.

This place is a good option for some beers and snack with friends. It have a very good service, the waiters are so nice and give you some recommendations.We tried alitas habanero, and let me tell you that are so hot! but delicious!

Our large family stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and had no problem getting in. Our local family member had called ahead and ordered because the main dish we got was salt fish which takes 40 minutes to prepare. It was a tasty flaky fish that was expertly served at the table. We also had two types of ceviche (citrus cured seafood) crabs and shrimp. The salt fish and ceviche were the stars. They have a full bar and excellent service. The view of a he bridge was great as well.

We had dinner on a windy night in town, and this restaurant have options for anyone hungry. Staff is very friendly and helpful so ordered a Deli Sandwich that was delicious and the Jamaica-mint drink was also great.We continue with some quesadillas and flautas that were generous in size and taste. Everything was perfect, but the shakes. We ordered chocolate and strawberry and they look fine until we tasted them. No ice cream at all! They were more like a chocomilk. No real milkshake here. Apart from that, we will surely come back anytime soon...

I got shrimp tacos. I couldn't even tell they were shrimp -- gray and tasteless. The tartar sauce obviously had not been refrigerated for centuries, upsetting my stomach. My daughter got the fettucini, and they went wayyyy overboard with the cream, making it also a huge dud. Never againHello Christopher P, for us it's very important that you can have a good experience. Could you contact us in our social networks? We would like to know more about the situation.

It was THE PLACE for shrimp but have been changing, not bad but nothing special anymore, sometimes overcrowded and service can be slow ...in the bright side they serve wild and fresh shrimp

Really good seafood but be careful about the recipes. For example, oysters Rockefellor was nothing like we know in the states. Locals seemed to eat lots of seafood empanadas (very large) and various types of seafood cocktails. Very professional place, very busy, open air, good prices.
