Wetzlar is a city located in the state of Hesse, Germany. It is a former free imperial city that owed much of its fame to being the seat of the Imperial Supreme Court (Reichskammergericht) of the Holy Roman Empire. Located at 8° 30′ E, 50° 34′ N, Wetzlar straddles the river Lahn and is on the German Timber-Frame Road which passes mile upon mile of half-timbered houses. Historically, the city has acted as the hub of the Lahn-Dill-Kreis on the north edge of the Taunus. The city is known for its ancient town and its medieval cathedral.

Located in the middle of Wetzlar Forum shopping mall, Latina offers good alternative to common fast food. Even though with service on tables the service is fast and the food fresh. Having said that, salad is dissapointing. Fresh, yes, but mainly made of lettuce, other ingredients seems to be there only for decoration purposes. I would give this place another chance though - pastas and pizzas in tables near me looked delicious ;).

Die bestellte Pizza war in weniger als 15 Minuten fertig und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Sie hatte einen knusprigen, aber trotzdem lockeren Teig, die Auflagen haben alle sehr frisch geschmeckt und waren ganau richtig gegart. Die weibleiche Bedinung war sehr freundlich und sympatisch. Die beiden männlichen Bedienungen waren ebenfalls sympatisch und haben einem behinderten Menschen im Rollstuhl geduldig und sehr hilfsbereit nach drauÃen geholfen. Wenn sie ab und zu mal ein Lächeln mehr auf dem Gesicht hätten, wären sie noch sympatischer.

We were rejected from another Hungarian restaurant (the woes of failure to make a reservation the previous night when we could have walked right in...) so we ended up here on Saturday night. I will say the bruschetta was one of the best I've ever had. Nice light garlic taste, good tomatoes, red onion, and spices. I'd definitely eat that again. They served Budweiser (not the American garbage, but real Budvar from Czech Republic) that was quite a nice surprise.My wife opted for minestrone starter and pizza margherita. I had pizza adria. I thought my wife's pizza a bit plain and just tasted like a cheese pizza. I liked my adria (without mushrooms!) and liked the fact that the pizzas were NOT huge as in some places. The size was just right for one person for a meal. The minestrone was good; we've had better and we've had worse.All in all, a decent place but I'd not look to eat here or recommend to other.

Dinner here with friends from Wetzlar. This is a warm, comfortable place with a complete and varied fish menu of sweetwater and saltwater varieties. Very good food - the fish is prepared with skill and a very light touch. The mixed appetizer plate was simply delicious and could be dinner for two. This night they also had Iberian pork roast on the menu. It was absolutely the best pork roast I have ever eaten! Dining with friends is always a treat, but this is a very hospitable place where even the most solitary traveler would be welcome.

First thing we liked, the modern styling of the interior. Not the "kitsch" you normaly see in Greek restaurants.The staff is very attentive, friendly and shows an interest.Quality of food is realy nice, wel prepared with fresh ingredients.One comment, nothing to do with the restaurant as such; Greek cant make decent wine. (So maybe add some options to your winelist)

Wir haben im Levanda bzw. dem Hotel Blankenfeld schon viele Familienfeiern ausgerichtet. Die zubereiteten Speisen sind immer perfekt, insbesondere die Steaks und Filets, wobei ich auch regelmäÃig das Bosnische Schnitzel auswähle. Auch die seit kurzem angebotene Mittagskarte bietet eine interessante Auswahl an Essen für die kurze Mittagspause. Im Sommer hat man auf der groÃen Terrasse einen wunderschönen ruhigen Ort zum Essen im Grünen, den man so gemütlich selten in Wetzlar findet.

Super overpriced and really not onest place and staff,ok for Germans people because they don't recognize quality of mediterrean food,staff cheat on all plates,one starter and one bad plate 51 euro!!!!First and last time,we were 10 persons of different nationality and that we travel usually in all the world ,all of us can only laugh and forget this such of disonest place!!!Stay faar away!!!!

Sometimes you manage to find a restaurant or a hotel where the personnell exceeds all your expectations, and just without even trying to do so. Bootshaus is such a place. The fact that the owner is not a German might have something to do with it... There was a huge group of us, over twenty in total, mostly teenagers with everyone having a different dish every evening (we ate there several evenings in a row), paying it separately and not once did their smile fade. They really did all possible to make us feel as welcome as possible. Well, the food there was really good too - and that might also be because the owner was not German... Excellent fish, good pizza and nice variety of pasta that even a vegetarian had several opportunities to choose. So, should you ever happen to spend a day in Wetzlar, do not miss this place!
