In piemontese si chiama "Piola" quel piccolo ristorante caratteristico dove si mangia cibo sano e si beve del buon vino schietto. Qui ci troviamo in una caratteristica Piola piemontese dove si mangiano ottimi antipasti classici, buoni primi e eccellenti secondi. Il dolce che abbiamo preso, una crostata fatta in casa di marmellata di fichi molto interessante. Il vino e alla mescita più che onesto. Il prezzo di circa â¬20 -24 interessante è davvero onesto. Il personale che serve molto gentile e disponibile. Bravi davvero

Tutte le volte che passiamo da Pinerolo ci fermiamo a cenare Al Cartoccio. La piazza e piatti della cucina sono buonissimi. Locale tranquillo e accogliente. Personale gentile e professionale. Super consigliato.

..we went in for an "apericena", an aperitivo with a variety of finger food to satisfy one's appetite for dinner... the service was excellent and so were the wines... a little better care should have been used in the prep of the food, the quality of which was a bit variable... overall an excellent ambiance, sort of hipster-oriented and welcome in a town like Pinerolo.

Lavoro da poco a Pinerolo e mi sono ritrovata in questo locale più di una volta!A pranzo i piatti sono sempre curati, offre una vasta scelta: avocado toast, pasta, polpette, insalate. I prodotti sono di qualità e sempre freschi, vengo volentieri in pausa pranzo. Mi è capitato di fare anche aperitivo, il locale cambia faccia e diventa un vero e proprio locale serale! Frequentato da diverse fasce d'età .Vasta scelta anche di alcolici.Le ragazze che ci lavorano sono sempre molto carine e disponibili!Davvero un bel posto!! Consigliatissimo!

Ieri sera siamo stati a cena al ristorante/pizzeria Mediterraneo. Ubicato a Pinerolo (To) lungo Via Martiri del XXI n.37, poco distante dalla stazione ferroviaria; un ampio piazzale con parcheggi a pochi passi dal ristorante. Il Mediterraneo possiede molteplici sale con tavoli e sedie di ogni tipologia/colore, pareti rivestite con pagine di vecchi quotidiani, grossi lampadari e paraventi con griglie metalliche ricurve, musica in sottofondo; un arredo singolare, rustico, poco confortevole. Il menù (fogli plastificati mezzi staccati tenuti da una pesante copertina rigida) è ricco e variegato: piatti della cucina tradizionale piemontese/italiana, piatti a base di carne e pesce, pizze rosse/bianche e focacce, dolci e amari. Il Mediterraneo dispone di forno a legna per la cottura delle pizze e di servizio d'asporto. Noi abbiamo ordinato una pizza frutti di mare, una pizza tropeana con aggiunta di patatine fritte, una bottiglia di acqua gasata e una birra media rossa. Le pizze buone, farcitura abbondante, impasto saporito. Per dolce abbiamo preso una meringata con cioccolato e un profitterol: buoni ma non eccezionali, serviti entrambi con una zolletta di zucchero infiammata (molto scenico ma alla fine un ammasso caramelloso immangiabile). Il ristorante al nostro arrivo (ore 19,50) era pressoché vuoto. Il servizio è stato decisamente lento, i piatti sono arrivati dopo oltre mezz'ora dall'ordine. Il personale gentile ma poco presente in sala; scarsa l'attenzione alle richieste dei clienti. Ho ordinato una birra media rossa peccato che mi è stata servita una birra media bionda. Al momento del pagamento del conto ci è stato offerto per digestivo un limoncello: peccato che nei bicchierini c'era della grappa (imbevibile). Il Mediterraneo ha sicuramente problemi di gestione del personale: non è possibile sbagliare ogni ordine delle bevande e far aspettare oltre mezz'ora per due pizze con il locale pressoché vuoto, è assurdo. Il costo totale della cena è stato di 37,50 ⬠totale per due persone (due pizze, una birra, un'acqua, due dolci, coperto) pagando con carta di credito. Pagare 6,00 ⬠per una birra media mi sembra un furto. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è discutibile. Il servizio scarso e disorganizzato. Non credo proprio che ci tornerò.

Ottima nduja, ma non solo splendidi sono i panini con rape e salsiccia secondo le tradizioni regionali calabresi. E poi il caciocavallo e la cipolla di Tropea un appunt da non mancare.

This is not your typical tourist attraction restaurant, I think this is what made it so great. Our waitress wasn't as fluent with English so the chef came out to answer our questions. Order the meat and cheese appetizer, you can't go wrong with this platter. It is filling and high quality, the honey just topped it off even more. Bread and breadsticks served in a paper bag, was a great tip for home parties. Meal was just as delicious, but all I could think about was returning again and again for the appetizer. I had a penne with ham and brie, sounds strange but one of the most flavorful pasta dishes during my entire stay in Italy. Others had whole fish and tuna coated with sesame seeds, all equally good, but very happy with my pasta. No room after this for dessert or coffee. Ask for the local wines, quite good.

After cycling a whole day and not having possibility to have dinner at Hotel Regina´s restaurant we went to second best restaurant in Pinerolo, as we were told, La Mimosa Bistrot. It was really good and tasty choice, and also quite expensive, but worth of it. Wine list had many good options and we were recommended to have certain wines with our dinner. Especially I remember my antipasto "Vitello tonnato".
