A new way of appreciating the outstanding quality of food in Bologna. The atmosphere is informal, modern design and very light colours. The menu is very attractive and the wine excellent. Deserts would deserve a visit on their own. The extreme kindness of the young and very active and professional manager does the rest.

Just in the center of Bologna, in narrow streets, among old and historical buildings you go around until when you see a sweet shop called Beirut Snack. It is astonishing when you realize that you can find a corner of Lebanon....food, music, kindness, a typical cake... A good moment!

One of the best cappuccino I've had in my life. Will most likely go to this place every morning for my stay in Bologna. Great ( but large) sandwiches with an assortment of toppings. The sweeter stuff looked tasty to even if I didn't try them. Very nice service.

I choose this place by reading other reviews on Trip Advisor. The food is excellent, they have their own recipes for certain dishes that are also their recommendations. I choose a carpaccio with meat and creamy cheese on top, lasagna bolognese and semifreddo. The atmosphere is nice. I recommend to book a table in advance especially for the weekends or be there early

Essentially it is just a toasted sandwich. Arrived 11:45 but denied service as they werenât ready, opening is advertised as 11:30am. Waited until 12 when they then started serving. Nice bread, ingredients seemingly fresh and lots of choice. This has obviously caught the imagination and is popular, worth a visit for a light lunch but I wouldnât go out of my way to eat here.

Almost a year has past, but our little family's memory of dining at Ensama lives on strong! Chef Sabino and his talented team served us one of the finest meals we've ever had - ever - anywhere! Every course was unique and artfully presented, emphasizing the flavor of the fish or seafood and not other accoutrements. We never placed an order, but rather sat back and enjoyed every one of about 8 courses. Chef Sabino is not only talented and gracious, but his background and credentials are extremely impressive. The location of the restaurant seems off the beaten path, but likely within 15 minutes of most anywhere you are in the Bologna area. The food was very good, the staff very friendly. You can pick out of a large variety of Italian sandwiches, based on world famous mortadella but also prosciutto crudo, mozzarella buffala and other Mediterranean ingredients. Lambrusco wine is fresh, not fermented enough and it will accelerate your digestion, if you know what I mean...

I had a business dinner in this restaurants with several colleagues. The place itself is not too big and very welcoming. The dinner has been an experience that involved all the senses - I loved every single dish that was served. We had amuse bouche - piadina with squacquerone cheese, rocket salad and smoked brook trout - cotechino and tongue with polenta, chestnuts and mixed pickled vegetables with mustard - cappelletti soup with artichokes and prawns - cannellone with pumpkin, sausage and sage and white pepper stock - Artusi 475, a stunning complex preparation made with eel - bbqed wild duck with sweet and sour rhubarb and black pepper. Then we had a custom cake. The wines: Marcalberto metodo classico with the antrées, Otmar Mair Weissburgunder with the first courses, and a Marzemino with the secound courses. Berlucchi for the final toast. I personally did not appreciate the last two - but it's only a matter of personal preferences. Everything we ate was a delight for both sight and taste and was carefully arranged on the plate. The maître explained every single dish and wine without being invasive, the waiters were very professional even though young.

Situated opposite our hotel Le Mura is a traditional restaurant offering an interesting menu. Food was mixed as my lasagne was average but my wife had the pork ribs which were delicious. Service was prompt but it was very quiet the night we went. Thanks for your great words. We look forward to see you again. best regards
