Enjoyed a birthday treat evening meal at this quayside restaurant in the heart of Solenzara. The staff were very obliging offering a quite extensive and varied menu of some 'French' staples and several interesting dishes. The service was prompt and the food was good. There is a reasonable wine list mainly offering Corsican wines. The restaurant is popular [always a good sign] so booking may be advisable especially during the peak season.

Fantastic welcome in a typical restaurant. We had lunch on the Etang D'Urbino's terrace, a large wooden platform floating on the 'Etang', a pond I would recommend to bird watchers. The terrace sits almost 100 persons yet although extremely busy the service is fast, kind, very good. Fish is extremely fresh. The pond fishers are specialized in mussel breeding therefore the dish is a must.

We spent the sunny day on the large white sandbeach in front of the restaurant Palauma. It is open all day which is so convinent since there are not a lot of restaurants on this beach. We decided to stay for dinner and we are happy we did, good food, nice and welcoming staff, and eating with feet in the sand.... Perfect !

Séjournant dans le village de vacances Marina d'Oru , nous avons testé un soir le resto et son menu Corses. Excellent veau cuit à la broche servi copieusement avec 1 tomate provençale et des pommes de terre (attention bcp d'ail). Par contre l'entrée et le désert prévus dans le menu n'offrent aucun intérêt : charcuterie corse sèche et trop salée, salade de fruits avec fruits difficilement identifiables... on aurait préféré une glace ou une spécialité locale...

Brasserie sulla strada principale di ghisonaccia. Apparentemente uno dei pochi locali "meno" turistici. Scelte tra carni, insalate varie, hamburgers, panini, gelati e crepes. Prezzi nella media. Forse se dovessi tornare per mangiare carne alla griglia opterei per un altro locale più "specifico". Nella norma!

We made the mistake of trying to eat here whilst staying at the very good campsite nearby. I can only think they do not want any punters. The service was non existant, all the staff being too busy smoking INSIDE and chatting to come to take our order.whilst we were waiting they removed 6 dead lobster from a filthy fish tank. By this time we had our wine so did not want to leave,but we were very glad we had not ordered that.the food was okay but we waited such a long.They seemed surprised when we did not want desserts or coffee. Truly awful experience.

Wide choice on menu, all cooked well. Specialise in crepes, but many other dishes available. Wait staff good. Really cannot be faulted for an especially good lunch.Warning: entrance from main road immediately by restaurant is ONE WAY but the sign is no longer there - enter by going south to the next (tiny) road (to the east) and drive one way system on narrow road behind the shops and restaurant.

Consigliato se non avete fretta, il servizio è un pochino lento.Ci siamo accomodati in esterno: sopra di una piscina che non viene pulita da molto e diventa covo di zanzare.
