What a great Pizza. Everyone claims Paris has some of the best food in the world. Thatâs a bunch of garbage. This place is a shinning star in a city that has a bunch of pretentious and gross restaurants. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service at Jimmy 2s. Such a good dining experience.

I stumbled across this restaurant while renting in the Latin Quarter. The food is exceptional -- extremely fresh, delicious. Myriads of options and extremely fair pricing. The owners are beyond friendly and gracious. Meat options and great for vegetarians/vegans. I ate here 3x in one week -- twice for lunch and once for take out dinner. A welcome break from standard French bistro fare.

After reading all the wonderful reviews my husband and I decided to try this wonderful restaurant especially after reading they were vegetarian friendly. Everything we ate was mouth wateringly delicious..We opted for the vegetarian tasting menu which we got to choose 1 app, 1 main and 1 dessert. There are other options for tasting menu choices which looked pretty flexible and reasonably priced-choosing different amount of starters or mains.We started with the mushrooms and Jerusalem artichokes both of which were bursting with flavor. For our mains we had the gnocchi and spinach and we finished with the most decadent chocolate dessert and a cheese. Had a great bottle of wine.Service was warm and friendly. unquestionably our best meal after travelling france and italy for a month. the restaurant was packed and noisy and full of energy. the owner made every customer feel like family. ironic we found difficulty finding good italian in italy...we ordered the ravioli in truffle sauce and the spaghetti pastamore-both exquisite. the combination of trip advisor and the fork discount brought us, we would be regular customers if we were parisians.

I am so thankful for TripAdvisor and an opportunity to post and read travel reviews. My husband and I did extensive research before going to Paris trying to make sure we picked the best restaurants that were also affordable. Our expectations were met and exceeded by Bar Italia! We all tried a different entree and tasted everything. All six of us agreed that each dish was exceptional and we would have been happy eating any of them. Dessert was just the same and the owner even gave us his Tiramisu as a gift. The service was exceptional! I know all 3 couples in our group would come back to this restaurant in a heartbeat! We all stand by it being our favorite restaurant of the trip!

We were there on a Saturday night and had fantastic food and service. We started with one of the mule cocktails, reasonably priced and tasted. We then each had a three-course dinner. For me the standout dish was the grilled octopus. Outstanding, I'd happily have it again. For dessert I had the macaroon with chantilly cream and raspberries. It was good but a bit dry. Nevertheless, I'd go back again. The environment is also nice, casual and cool setting. Really super service. Although they were busy, we were not ignored. Definitely go and make a reservation!

This is the 1 pizza stop you need to make. Everything was so fresh, staff was friendly and welcoming. Myself and 3 friends stopped here while on our trip. We all ordered different pizzas and shared. All of the izzas were AH-MAZING!!!

The restaurant seating is pretty limited but the seats are comfortable and spaced appropriately, the place is spotless (seating area, cooking area and bathrooms), the staff is super friendly and explains meals in English without any hint of attitude (sometimes encountered in other Parisian eateries), and the food is "home made" and delicious.
