I was visiting with some friends after asking local people where to eat a good cachopo. Among the few places I was given, I chose this one and was actually a very tasty and large cachopo (unfortunately we ate it before taking a picture). We also tried a "carrillera" (mix) of grilled meat and everything was very good. If you must choose a single dish, I would go for a cachopo. Quality and quantity vs. price ratio is very high.

Paradors are, for me synonymous with quality, elegance and refinement and this one delivers completely. The modern addition that provides the rooms and dining facilities and rooms has been been tastefully designed, are spacious and all to a high standard. Reception and other common rooms have been tasefully incorporated in the remnants of the former monastry.Dining is a star feature with imaginative dishes cooked to a very high standard. It is conveniently located at the northern edge of the town adjacent to the river Onis, and the town centre is only a delightful 25 minute walk along the is well maintained river bank walk.It is an ideal base for exploring the Picos de Europa. In our 5 night stay, we managed to fit in 2 beautify countryside walks [hotel staff are vey helpful if you need ideas or directions] and visit the main highlight destination â Fuente De, Los lagos de Lacona and the climb from Poncebos to Bulnes.Terrific choice for anyone who like a bit of luxury as well as beautiful scenery.

I can't say anything bad about this place, its small, its charming and its very Spanish! The food is good and the price even better. I can't not mention the waiter, defiantly it's been a while, since I meet some character like him! Defiantly a place worth to stop if you are looking for that kind of dinner setting. + The best chocolate cake I ever have!

The decoration of the restaurant is very inviting, then you see the view and you are already enjoying a treat. The service is impeccable and the food simply amazing. We have lived in Sydney, NY and London and have been to many restaurants in these cities and many others we have travelled to, but had never experience these amazing flavours! We got to meet chef Javi and his team. A man passionate about his job, and it shows. Beware though, Asturian portions a very generous! So even though we were able to have half portions, these were not small sizes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were part of the treat that was staying at the hotel. I can't recommend it enough! You'll never want to leave...Dear Guest,Thank you very much for your delightful and concise review. It will be my pleasure to share your wonderful compliments with the rest of the team and I hope we're able to welcome you back again soon.Best regards,Ricardo Silvestre

A family restaurant where we will be able to taste plates of the traditional Asturian kitchen. Asturian cuisine recognize enjoys fame for its quality, taste and tradition.
Fantastic restaurant in the center of cangas de onis. The service was very good and friendly. Food was excellent. The sardines with orange carpaccio and hake as main course were very good.

At the end of the restaurant is a little patio with some sitting filled with beautifully arranged flowers, mostly hydrangeas. Everything seems carefully arranged and what I presume is the owner oversees it all with just the right amount of attention without being overwhelming. The food was great, and she readily accommodated my lactose intolerance while maintaining excellent quality.

Casa Marcial is a two Michelin star and three Repsol Star Restaurant run by Chefs Nacho and Esther Manzano in the town of Arriondas, Asturias. Asturias is a region in the North of Spain (The Green Coast), very well known for its spectacular scenery, cultu
Once you find this place, you'll be surprised and rewarded. Although set in a rural, out-of-the-way corner of norther Spain, the team turns out beautifully-presented, top-quality meals with very good service (English can be a bit sketchy). Only two tasting menus were available when we went, because it was only the second day of service in spring 2019. Try the wine/cider pairing for the full experience.
We called in at this restaurant after a walk from the Area Recreativa. It is in a lovely position, being away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, and with a lovely view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As one of our party was a vegetarian they told us what dishes were appropriate and also said they could do a mixed grilled vegetables to go with it. Good food, great location with easy parking and varied menu. Not to be missed.

Tuesday 28 May, Dinner. We are the only 2 diners. Starter of clams (almejas) - Euro 28. Main of 'kingfish' (Rey) - Euro 72.As with the Emperors New Clothes, a reality check is needed here. This is crude un-adorned cooking being sold at grossly inflated prices. One example of a far better bet is Sibariz where you get refined cuisine at less cost.
