A company of 4 couples, we sat and were served almost immediately on a Friday night when the place was full. Live music began at 9 pm and went on until 1 am!!! Good was very tasty (even though Jannis is better) and the overall ambience very friendly. Will go again.

We have visited this restaurant twice this week, and 3 times last year. Every visit has been excellent. Fantastic service, beautiful setting, immaculate and clean and superb food. I'm vegetarian and there was lots to choose from. Vegetable linguine is amazing, haloumi rocket salad is fabulous too. My husband has seafood and he said it was delicious. They made small pasta dishes for our children and nothing was too much. Honestly can not fault at all. My favourite restaurant in Greece! Excellent value for money, both meals were between â¬70-120 including either a bottle of prosecco or a bottle of the Moutain Sauvigion Blanc, which is beautiful! Well done Kritikos for consistently being excellent. And thank you for the private transfers from our hotel.Thank you for your great review! Did feel that the service was not that good Dear 578bri ,We would like to sincerely apologise for the unpleasant experience which you state occurred on your recent visit to Chryso Agistri regarding your meal. We can assure you that this kind of event is obviously an isolated incident and in no way reflects the high culinary standards which our restaurant is known for. Neither have we had such an occurrence in the past, as all of our raw ingredients are very carefully selected and prepared using very strict procedures in terms of hygiene. Once it was brought to the attention of our waiters, they acted efficiently and professionally, replacing your dish immediately with a new one, which is the normal policy of any restaurant of good standing. It is regretful to read your comments regarding the service of our waitress and we are sorry if any inconvenience was caused, while your feedback has been duly noted. Best regards,

Greek tavernas have upped their game in recent years. Kokinos like many in resorts has a smart, white look, good service and a slightly more ambitious twist to traditional Greek fare. This is helped by the huge improvement in Greek wine. We sat next to a huge Russian guy, on his own, with two mobiles, who ordered 4 dishes and a bottle of wine which he proceeded to consume after standing and making the Orthodox sign of the cross 4 times. The Chaldikiki is a favourite watering spot for East Europeans especially Bulgarians. A good test of a Greek taverna is its Tarama. It must be creamy, smooth with a hint of fish roe, distinctive but not too strong. Kokkinos passed the test. I asked for Red Mullet (Barbounia) which they didn't have because the Med is fished out. We had a nice grilled cheese with fig relish and some passable grilled octopus. All in all pleasant enough not that much better than a simple, traditional taverna to merit more than 3 stars.

We were there one time but we were very pleased with the food. We tried fried eggplant and sea risotto . The risotto was incredible, a huge portion - not for two, but for at least three. I strongly recommend. Waiter Dimitri was very kind and polite. And last but not least, the dessert compliment with red orange was very delicious.

We had a great relaxing drink in the evening! Lovely view of the port by night! Lots of little different seating spots (even in the beach) and lovely atmosphere with perfect lighting! Simple menu sitting at traditional tables, the charming Maria will show you where to sit to avoid the mosquitoes and will tell you about her family's running of the cafe for 85 years and other information that you wouldn't otherwise discover.

Super tasty food, excellent quality of products, fiendly helpful service and chill out atmosphere. This is our choice to have a great dish on the island. Food is well prepared, presented and served. We really enjoyed the greek salad with tzatziki, mixed cream starters and the "catch of the day" - fresh fish catched the same day, most of the times Lavraki and Cipura. The garden in which the bar and restaurant are situated, is very beautiful, very authentic and peaceful. The service was first class, so welcoming and professional - the waiter cleaned our fish from the bones in front of us and was around for us the whole evening. I'm really impressed and can say that this is my favourate place in Ammouliani!Hello Ralitsa G, we are really grateful for your nice words! Although we heard so many good comments on this restaurant, we were extremely disappointed and offended by the staff´s behavior . They were very rude when they literally forbade us to sit at the preferred table.. by behaving rudely and telling us that all the front tables were reserved. However. according to a European law, if a restaurant wants to have the policy of reserving tables, this has to be registered.. and this was not the case.. on top of al the waitress verbally attacked by friends and told them that she doesnât care whatever comments we might make. This is a place I will never visit again, nor do I recommended it.Dear Do you think that is fair ,to have your own rules when you visit a place ,that is not yours?Even when this place works with rules that they are excepted from everyone ?On top of that ,you trying to threaten us ,with a bad review?You use the power and the anonymity of internet,to threat a business and all the people that they work for your joy?Or did you forget they way you talk to Vicky ,our manager,yesterday ?Let me remind you : You enter the restaurant and you demand to sit in a table that was reserved!Vicky ,well know for her hospitality and kindness, explain you that the table is unfortunately reserved ,and try to saw you another table ! Rudely, while you complaining , leaving our restaurant,you threaten us : âIâm leaving and you will see what I will writeâThis is your way of holidays ? Share threats and bad reviews to whoever doesnât fix you in the way you demand?We take every review ,very serious and we try to satisfy all of our customers with the top of the quality. The place is run by the couple who are very friendly and welcoming! The service is quick and the place is very clean. They have a variety of meat dishes (lamb, beef, pork and chicken) and moussaka (I thought) was especially delicious and well cooked ! Highly recommended !
