We visited Poppins one evening in August. The staff were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. My partner went for the toasted classic bread with pesto sauce, cheese and fresh vegetables. I had a chicken fillet with grilled peppers and tomatoes. Both were well sized portions that filled us both up. The service was excellent. Poppins is a family oriented venue with a manned creche to keep the little ones entertained. Highly recommended.

First time eating here, very varied menu, and all very nice staff. Had a fabulous dinner for our family of 4. Hosts speak English, Dutch, German and of course Spanish so no language problems. The tigres was amazing as was the grilled fish. All our meals were great the only small downside was the steak was a bit salty. The atmosphere was lovely, plenty of parking and the hosts are lovely. We found eating here more enjoyable than many of the restaurants in town. Well worth going out to visit, its less than 10 minutes from the centre of town.

My partner had a fish dish. It had been left under the hot plate after being cooked and was dried and over cooked . I had the steak which was just OK. It was meant to be served with ‘spices potatoes’ ... not sure pesto counts as spice! They were smeared with it. We got the impression that the cook couldn’t be bothered. Dear Mr,First of all we would like to apologize about what had happened with your fish dish. If we had known this we would have changed it immediately. The satisfaction of our customers come first. We had diner at this restaurant. It's a nice mordern place. The reviews on tripadvisor are diverse ... so we decided to give it a try.We had good diner, but is was not 'gastronomic'. Price was ok. Funny ... we asked 'campari orange' and the waiter served Picard. We gave it back and that wasn"t a problem.

This restaurant is beautiful. In the most gorgeous setting. We sat outside in a beautiful garden with string lights around the table. The food is amazing and plentiful. We have a vegan, two vegetarians and three meat eaters in our party and we were all stuffed. The food is amazing and the staff are all very friendly and speak fantastic English (but they let us practise our rudimentary Spanish without judgement!). I couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. And Juan is a legend. The restaurant was closed for vacation and reopened on July 10. We decided to go for a late lunch as we returned from a day trip. A very nice experience indeed: excellent service, great food, nice prices and superb price/quality. Could not ask for more. Worth a visit even from longer distance.

This restaurant makes Alhaurin great again. Beautiful place, very good food, nice (local) people, very good service. Love Isabel, and all her collegea, and of course the always smiling cheffe( whats his name?). We come her frequently, because its high quality for a good price.

Me and my friends went in this restaurant, we were 11 of us.Tino and staff was really really nice with us and the food arrived on time and all together. We tried few different pasta dishes and pizzas. What to say...? We were really happy with the meal, the best filled pasta we ever tried, I had pear and Gorgonzola pasta, I can suggest it..This restaurant is a must if you are in Malaga.
