The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.Had a fantastic time at Mango, the family is lovely and Divias food was amazing the welcome was warm, the view of the canal was nice. Good breakfast. The hosts booked us a boat for a ride on the backwaters. It was perfect, we were alone on the boat. Important: you have to drive there to go to dinner, especiall

The only restaurant in Kumarakom, which you have separate dining for vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Under vegetarian we have a wide variety of dishes like masala dosa,poori,chappathi,thali meals, biriyani, noodles,friedrice and the main attraction is the live making of foods like appam,puttu etc. The non veg restaurant has lip smacking non veg,tandoor and grill dishes.
It is a very nice hotel.

This is a Govt. approved homestay unit in Gold House category, located in an ideal spot where three sides covered by water. One side by lake, another side a river and third side a paddy field. Access by road and water, just 1 km from Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. All rooms are lake facing with a balcony facing the paddy field.
Great location, poor accommodation
Reviewed By ConorMacDLocation is beautiful, with great sunsets from a balcony looking across Lake Vembanad, and a couple of great seafood restaurants beside. However, the standard of the accommodation is poor. The shower drain was blocked, the light over the bed was broken but the manager could not fix it, the bed was very hard, there were very few furnishings in the room, etc.

Reviewed By Suganthi MThe hotel is located a bit out of town in a quiet place. Inspite of it we were able to get autos outside. We stayed here for visiting six out of 108 vaishnava divyasthalams. Staying here was a good choice for our purpose. The autofare around rs.60 for busstand. Hotel Aryas pure veg restaurent nearby is good. We even had lunch in the attached restaurent in this hotel, veg thali was really good. The room was comfortable and sheets were clean but on the whole some more cleaning of room and bathroom required. But on the whole value for money.

Reviewed By Kuntal SVery arrogant owners, as if doing favour to customer, Poor condition of boat, non functioning ACs , feels like stinking furnace. No ownership and patience to understand customer view , people on boat instead of understanding issues just ask you to talk to manager who threatens you saying you will not get service unless you cooperate this is worst I have seen in Kerala.
