You’ll find plenty of orange trees here, but the fruit known as the "Valencia orange" was actually developed in California. Travelers interested in local food should focus on paella instead. While the city contains many monuments, Valencia’s modern crown jewel is the City of Arts and Sciences, a futuristic complex of museums, cinemas, theaters, and more.

Graffiti tour and Carmen Quarter  - 3 hours - The graffiti tour is something new and interesting, moreover in the Carmen neighborhood there are many pieces by well-known urban artists. This has always been a bohemian quarter. Urban art has been transformed over time, going from being considered "vandalism" or clandestine, to being one of the most appreciated forms of modern art. It is a popular art and in many cases ephemeral. We will see the so called now "the Street of the colours" the photograph of a Kiss. This is a well-known calle Moret, where several pieces of street art are represented on a wall 60 meter long, -the mystery of a Kiss- Apart from seeing graffiti you also will see buildings or places of interest.

We spent our Valentine’s Day with Angela learning about the very rich history of this beautiful city. We moved here during the summer and had been walking around these beautiful buildings not knowing any of the history behind them. Angela was spectacular, she taught us so much and yet merely scratched the surface of the the extremely mixed history of Valencia. She’s is an excellent tour guide as she explains everything clearly. I now walk my dog and am able to recognize some of the Roman, Muslim and Christian influences that made this place we now Call home. I am so impressive but mostly grateful she shared some her knowledge with us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to visit and curious about Valencia. There is so much to discover and she is 100% the best person to navigate that journey. Thank you so so much.

Valencia is a modern city, in constant renewal, and proof of this are the different artistic manifestations that we can find along all its streets, and especially in the area of Ciutat Vella. Graffiti, murals, stickers, stencils, and a whole series of Street Art interventions are carried out by groups such as XLF, and urban artists that are international references such as Deih, Juliet, David de Limon or Pichiavo ... In the Carmen neighborhood, Street Art has become the salvation and recovery of abandoned streets and squares and they have positioned this neighborhood within a new artistic context and with two references such as IVAM and El Center del Carmen and the different Festivals and exhibitions held in them, as precursors of this avant-garde art that have turned the surroundings of Ciutat Vella into an open-air and live museum.

She also give some good insights into local knowledge concerning architecture and the stalls in the markets. I would recommend this tour as it's beneficial to tourists and relatively inexpensive.
