Hearty portions for normal prices. I sat in the little alley or vicolo, ravioli with prawns and lobster was delicious. Staff attentive and helpful whatever your language. Napolitan restaurant serving Roman dishes and a few nice surprises. I will go back.

This place is crowded during dinner hours. Most people are there for the price fix meals - 15 euros for three meat courses plus dessert, 20 for three fish courses plus dessert and both include water and wine. I chose to try the meat meal, while my partner chose the fish. Both of us were disappointed. The sauce on my pasta was watery, and even though is was a meat sauce - i have more fingers on one hand then the pasta had morsels of meat. My sausage was so overcooked that it was like biting into cardboard. This was hands down one of the WORST meals that I have had in Italy. If you are visiting Villa dâEste, this is a fine place for lunch. The atmosphere and decor are charming, including the pretty espresso cups. The menu is another traditional one. Also, there is a wonderful tuna salad, quite large, with many good additions.

Management stood around in a daze ignoring customers, whilst waiters ran around like headless chickens. No clear welcome location for outside diners.Needs to have a stand notifying where to wait to be served for a table. Zero customer service amazing as the management had plenty of chance to talk to interact with customers whilst they waited.Chef special. Was a small piece of fish in a white sauce dusted with cocoa? why not use with truffle or finely dried mushroom. We know what purest the locals are when it comes to food. The pizza arrives uncut so we struggle to slice it up without losing too much on the floor. Tables way to small for three to be seated if you had more than one or two starters your in trouble. Guys, you have one chance to get this right. I suggest you have some staff training and management need to get their act together if you want to succeed in this tough marketSempre lei ne ha fatta un altra.....tranquillo....non ci rimaniamo male.....buon tutto...

We have lived in Rome for going on 3 years and are used to paying over the odds for mediocre food and pushy service (note other's reviews for Ristorante Ulpia next to Mercati di Traiano which we unfortunately tried last week!); so what a surprise to find such a lovely restaurant for lunch! It is ideal if you are driving back from Tivoli and want a convenient spot with a handy carpark. We choose two ravioli, shared a lovely bruschetta and a plate of fried vegetables plus a pleasant half liter of white wine (â¬2!) and water and all for â¬33, which also included genuinely friendly service! Bravo.

We stopped here for a light lunch following TripAdvisor reviews and weren't disappointed.Simone made us welcome and had good English which suited us and he also helped us choose from the menu. We had a HUGE sandwich, a hamburger and a pasta - all were freshly made and very tasty. The prices were reasonable. A good place to stop in Tivoli.

Visited with a friend who has spent many months traveling Italy. From the instant we tasted the fresh-baked bread, we knew we were in for something special, and the pizzas proved us right. This was the best pizza either of us has ever had in Italy, and we've just spent 12 days in Campania. Just wonderful.

We found this place by accident while trying to get out of the tourist-centric Tivoli and find some places where the locals went to eat. The staff barely spoke English and the menu was only in Italian (always a good sign), but we managed to decipher it enough to order. The waitresses were very friendly, as was the boss.Pizza is only available in the evening, but it's unbelievable. We had a white Pizza Patate (Mozarella, potato, and Rosemary) on the recommendation of the waitress. I was pretty dubious as potatoes on a pizza sounds stodgy to me, but when it came it was glorious. For â¬6.50 you get a large, very thin and light pizza, with a wonderful mixture of flavours, easily the best pizza I have ever had. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, including my other half's pasta, which was also homemade and scrumptious. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch.If you take a 10 minute walk from Tivoli to this restaurant you will be well rewarded.
