Weâve eaten here several times for many years and had good food. Unfortunately, this year the restaurant has gone way downhill. The toilet and bathroom tap were broken so there was no lavatory available on premises. The only wash sink available had no soap/towels available. Midway through our lunch the cook came out to brush her teeth at the sink. The waitress then used the same sink to wet a broom to wash the floor. The food was extremely basic and devoid of flavour. And there was one scratchy CD played over and over at high volume. Also, cafe is currently receiving a few white faced capuchin visitors which is quite normal for the area but they occasionally jump down the trees to nick stuff off the tables. Families with small children might need to keep an eye on little ones. Shame to see this place has gotten so bad as the cafe is one of the few places in town with a beach breeze and food used to be quite tasty traditional Tico.

Been here a couple of times now and will be back from more as itâs lovely. The food is fresh and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The first time we had the tacos and as the sign said yes itâs the best in town. On our second visit my husband had the Peruvian dish which was a beef stir fry and although mine was fab I still had food envy. I had the fish and chips and the owner came and asked if we enjoyed the food âyes I replied I never finish my food and I ate it allâ his smile said it all. Love the food the staff and the vibe here and if you like your IPAs then youâll also be happy with the beer as well!

They have an amazing Natural fruit parlor; not sherbert- its the most delicious alternative for people who need to avoid diary products. The texture, quality and taste is beyond what your palate has experienced. All you folks coming to Santa Teresa for the outrageous Surfing and Yoga mind relaxation therapy,,,, please check-in. This place is an absolute gem. I had the tropical ceviche with mahi mahi. Every culinary element covered. The sweet from the mango and passion fruit, the sour from the lime, the crunch from the peppers and onions, the spicy from the ginger and jalapeno. The owner was running the show and was incredibly friendly and hospitable.You simply won't find a tastier and refreshing meal after an afternoon on the beach.Thank you for your kind words my friend it was a pleasure to have you in for a bite. We had dinner twice at this restaurant, first some meat and then pizza. Everything is cooked in a parrilla the best Argentinian style. Portions are very large so beware of how much you order. My burger was delicious and so was the pizza with a very thin and crunchy crust. The bread with garlic is to die for!

What a great place to eat. Except for the fact that it was actually too hot inside this restaurant to have dinner (get some fans on the ceilings) everything beside that was perfect. All the meats were authentic and so tender! Great flavours. Recommend this place highly!

What a brilliant place! Not only was the food excellent, but the sunset was fantastic! A real local gem, with Antonio (the owner?) giving me a basic Spanish lesson into the price!Go at 1730 and sit right at the front near the sea, eat seafood, drink wine, watch the sunset and be happy.

If youâre ever close or even an hour away, go! Donât even think about the word maybe.... just run and grab a table, watch the butterflies, have an Azul craft beer and eat. We tried about everything and the ohs and ahs at the table were everywhere. From great fish to carnitas on plantains to the piping hot chips it was all perfect.View to die for and if itâs possible, better service. Before or after take the little train to the Montezuma waterfalls and jump. This is what a vacation should be!!!! Thank you all, oh and see you tomorrow!!!!

I went due to positive reviews on tripadvisor & wasnât disappointed. We had pineapple & mint juices which were lovely, chicken & shrimp rice & 2 glasses of wine. The food was fresh & tastes great. At the end of the night, as 2 females we were worried about walking back into town in the dark as they couldnât get us a taxi. Our waiter was so kind and walked us home when he finished his shift. What a lovely place!
