An unexpectedly comfortable hotel
Reviewed By 260yvonnelI don’t read Japanese but I do read Chinese, so I was able to understand perhaps 50% of written Japanese with the help of Kanji. During breakfast (free of charge buffet breakfast), I looked around the dining lobby and discovered a lot of signs showing that this hotel spent a lot of effort in researching how to make people sleep better. I really slept so well during the three nights of stay here. It was even better than the bed at my home! My mum and I could fall asleep within three minutes into bed all three nights! The buffet breakfast is of good quality too. The dishes were changed everyday. And it was truly completely free of charge. Bikes are available for borrowing. Sadly I didn’t get the time to cycle around Tottori, but it is for sure a city suitable for cycling around, because there were not many people on the streets. I guess I won’t return to Tottori in the near future, but if I do, I am more than willing to come back to this hotel!

Bad experience
Reviewed By even sI had my trip to Okayama and Yonago in July 2018 after the disaster of the heavy rain. However, the train and bus from Okayama to Yonago were all stopped. I had no way to get there and called the hotel for booking cancellation but I am very disappointed that the hotel refused to refund.

Opened in February, 2015 at the resort area with thermal water hot spring (onsen) near seaside in Yonago city, Tottori prefecture (Western Japan). At your service: 11 rooms (Japanese style, European style, family apartment with kitchenette) from 10 to 25 sq.m. for accommodation from 2 to 4 persons. All rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV, air conditioning and safety deposit box. Free! WiFi is available in all areas Hotel features: free of charge laundry facilities and fully equipped kitchen and dining room Hotel is located 5 minutes walk from beach at the hot spring resort area (natural mineral water is partly mixed with sea water). Swimming season: from May to October Ski resort at mount Daisen is 20 minutes drive from the hotel (open from December to March) Near the hotel: shops, cafes (region is famous with seafood and meat dishes), children playgrounds and sport fields, Japanese gardens and green parks. Our staff is international. We speak Japanese, English and Russian.
Cheap but convenient inn in Kaike onsen area
Reviewed By sewonhanThe facility, called rest house, was a guest house-style inn. It has various types of rooms, we stayed at small dadami room with shared rest room. The room was small but 2-3 persons could sleep well. It has separate/shared rest room and shower room, but they were clean and vacant in day times. However if you family members do not like share bathroom, you need to upgrade the room level. It has shared kitchen, and it was large and convenient to have something. But if your room would be near the kitchen, it could be quiet noisy in the evening time. The inn provide large parking lot for rental car drivers. It was good. The location was impressive. Kaike area had plenty of choices in onsen. You could stay in this inn but you can travel different onsens in every nights near the inn. You could ask to inn manager about that. The beach, restaurants, 24H CV shops are around there too.

The room is pretty big
Reviewed By Petcharat SHotel is about 15 minutes walk from the train station and nothing much to do around its location. Room is pretty big as I stayed in standard twin bedroom. You can either sleep on the bed or laying futon on the floor and lie down on it, there is a plenty of space for this. Toilet is in the room but staying here you only get shared bathroom where you can enjoy onsen bathing which is well organized, spacey, and clean. Staffs are okay, they serve you pretty well even language is kinda a barrier. Price is rather high compare to the same standard of hotels nearby. However, with the price you pay more, the bigger space you would get, and that is it.

Reviewed By lalanjyaぬるぬるの質感が特徴の温泉に興味があり、評価も高いので一泊しました。温泉は確かにぬるぬるで夕刻と朝の2度利用。それぞれに違う景観を楽しみながらゆったりできました。最高でしたよ。食事は灯りが活かされた庭を眺めながら落ち着いたサービスでゆったりいただきました。気になったのは「おもてなし」の部分。受付に人がいなかったり、廊下に十分空調が聞いていなかったり、隣の部屋からたばこのにおいがベランダに届いたり。ハードに恵まれているのにソフト面が力不足。恵まれた部分を十分生かしてほしい。

The Wedding Adventure
Reviewed By RTOlsonWe spent 3 nights on islands of Ama and Nishinoshima for a Traditional Japanese Wedding and it was an experience beyond all expectations. We stayed at the Marine Port Hotel and found the staff to be very accommodating and welcoming. The facilities were very comfortable. The wedding was planned by the island tourism staff. They and the island residents treated the entire group with hospitality beyond any we have ever encountered. Nicola, our local contact/wedding planner, was phenomenal in the face of many changes in plans due to weather and or other situations that would derail many other events. Her ability to translate and work between the many people involved made this event extraordinary. The food that the hotel provided was delicious, with a taste of the islands that made it extra special. (try the Oki beef again and again...). The Onsen was a traditional delight to experience too! We would highly recommend this place as a spot for a destination wedding, or just a visit. It was an adventure worth the time!

Suite rooms with an additional private outside bath, all amenities supplied, extremely comfortable beds, great food, very friendly staff, nice views of Mt Daisen and Yonago town. Will definitely visit again and I recommend you to stay at this hotel if in the area.

We offer the best hospitality and relaxation at the lowest rates in the hotel industry. 5 minutes from high speed Yonago IC. Good access to sightseeing and business. Soothe tiredness in the proud large bath overlooking Oyama, please relax in the room of tatami. All rooms have massage chairs! Please use the on-site restaurant for meals.

Reviewed By Kay CMy family are satisfied with this hotel. It offers nice and warm welcome. The room is quite big for two people and it is very clean and quiet. The breakfast is also very delicious especially the bread. It is very good for car-drive traveler because the parking space is enough and it is not far from train station. Another advantage is : close to a big supermarket. The only short-coming is that they don't have elevator. But I am lucky to have staff help me carry the luggage.
