中尊寺と平泉駅の中間くらいに位置する和食料理店です。メインのそばは太めで、味は普通でした。友人が注文したとろろご飯は結構美味しいようでした。値段も観光地にしてはそこまで高くなかったです。

毛越寺の中にある蕎麦屋さんです。きのこ山菜そばを注文しましたが、ふつうに美味しかったです。庭先の縁台で景色を見ながら食事ができて、それなりに風流です。なお、料金は先払いでした。

At the foot of the hill where the Chuson-ji Temple complex exists is a municipal parking lot. Because this one is the closest to the temple, we used this parking for JPY300. When we finished parking our car, several women from different restaurants approached us asking if we had already finished our lunch. As we hadn’t, so we ended up with the restaurant closest to where we had parked.About one half of its space inside was for tables and chairs, and the other half was for tatami that requires us to take off our shoes. We chose a table and chairs to keep our shoes on.Their menu was typical of the old fashioned Japanese restaurants; noodle dishes (soba) and rice dishes. Several set menus are also available that come with three or four side dishes with a bowl of rice and a small bowl of miso soup. The pricing is from JPY900 – JPY2,000.

中尊寺の門前にある海鮮丼が安くて美味しいお店です。生鮮類の輸送技術がアップしてこのような内陸でも美味しい海鮮類がいただけるのだと改めて実感しました。海鮮丼がお薦めメニューのようです。「弁慶(大)」「義経(中)」「静(小)」など平泉にちなんだもの以外に「カニちらし丼」「マグロ丼」などがあります。価格も驚くほどの安さです。「弁慶(大)」はエビ､マグロ､サーモン､ブリなどです。入荷によって変わることもあるようですが、新鮮な魚を大胆に盛りつけています。ビジュアル的にも満足できる一杯です。地元の方の利用も多いということで、非常に評価の高いお店と思いました。

わんこそば風のそばやこの周辺の名物であるお餅を食べることができます。雰囲気も接客もよくある観光地で家族代々やってきましたというかんじのお店で、味も普通です。立地的に努力をしなくても客が来るのは分かりますが、もうすこし料理を美味しくするなどの勉強をしてほしいものです。

盛り出し式わんこそばといって、ちいさなおわん２４杯におそばがはじめから盛られた形で提供されます。いろいろな薬味が一緒に出てくるので、お好みで味の変化を楽しむことが出来ます。2000円でした。平泉の駅前ですので、参拝後にランチとなるようにスケジュールを組まれるとよいと思います。

來到平泉，看完中尊寺，其實在中途就已經下雨了，看完後天氣變得很差，雨超大風又強，這時在巴士站對面有這家綜合設施實在太感激了，看看這座建築，黑白相間，整齊乾淨新穎，又有設計感，讓人看了就有點想消費，餐廳樓上樓下一間，還有土產店，我選擇樓下那間。樓下餐廳很大，客席區我想可容納一百人也沒問題，但那時候只有一桌客人，可能跟外面惡劣天氣與平日有關，點餐是用餐卷，不用給服務人員，點餐資訊會直接傳給廚房，照上面號碼叫號取餐，一切都要自己來，包括倒水拿餐具，有點像學校的大食堂，很快的餐點就來了，還算好吃，不管如何當外面刮風下雨時，能有的舒適地方可以吃喝休息，很令人高興。整體來說，因為在絕佳的位置，就在中尊寺下來的巴士站對面，我想這是一個很好的吃喝買土產站。

We wanted to try the local specialty variety of mochi dish and this place was conveniently near Chusonji temple where we visited. It is just down the road in a small quaint house. They may have other items but we had the 6 variety mochi dish which is round soft mochi with different toppings. You could chose your own toppings from sesame, grated radish, pureed lima beans, red beans, and so on. I think it came with pickles and soup as well.The mochi was a two bite piece which was lots of fun to eat as you discover the changing flavours and textures with the different toppings. They come in colourful little bowls with their assortments, it was very pretty. It is a filling snack then a meal. But it hits the right spot and really fun to eat.

中尊寺見学で疲れ果て空腹を満たせればいいかな程度の感覚でした。ごめんなさい、とんでもなくおいしかったです。とろろそばを頂きましたが、きめ細かいとろろとお蕎麦が良く合います。量が多く普通で十分です。友人たちは、大盛にして出された量に戸惑っていましたがペロでした。
