It is closest restaurant from Sansoussi schloss if You will not use the main road.Not so big it has also small garden withh tables for outdoor seating.Italian food and desserts, German beer. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service - a;; You need after long-time excursion

My food was fabulous, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service was outstanding!!!The portion was perfect, the pork loin cooked to perfection and the lobster cream sauce was none like I've ever had before.Italian food seems to be quite popular here in Potsdam and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great little place. The pizzas were tasty and at a reasonable price. The restaurant is in a great location in the new gate at the end of the shopping area so is great for lunch or an early dinner. I had the pizza buffala which was with really high quality mozzarella. As someone who has lived in Italy I recommend this. If you come to the restaurant try and sit on the top floor. There us a really comfortable booth at the back where we sat for hours - so comfortable!

I go there for years now. Like people said this is not the best Italian in the world but still very very delicious, especially the pizzas! More importantly, the atmosphere is amazing and I love the people!

Man sitzt sehr nett dort, vor allem drauÃen unter den Linden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir waren mittags und abends dort und recht zufrieden. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft, leider war beide Male das Fleisch (Geflügel bzw. Schwein) zu sehr durchgebraten. Trotzdem würden wir wieder hingehen.

"La Riva" is located close to a harbor in Werder , as well as being very close to the Havel river itself. The atmosphere is great, on sunny days it's really nice to sit outside. There is plenty of room both inside (which has a bar as well) and on the outside, where about 50-60 guest or so may dine. I was there with my family. I ordered Pizza, they ordered seafood pasta as well as fish. Although the food was not delivered at the same time, rather with a 5-10 minute delay, the food was delicious and the waiters were always nice.

We stayed at the Resort Schwielowsee, which is a merely 4 min walk from this restaurant. We left the resort because they couldn't offer much: beach restaurant closed and main restaurant only serving a buffet dinner.We must have hit a top day for the chef, who that day had some really nice fresh fish delivered in the kitchen. Accompanied with the late asparagus season we had a top meal at this pizzeria....Starter was then prime asparagus with a lovely home-made hollandaise.Main was a whole Zander (pike-perch) simply grilled and served with some vegetables and lemon. Perfect!Extremely fair prices, more than ok wines and a very kind and swift service staff.We went back to our hotel VERY satisfied (and with some money left in the purse...).Highly recommended - especially for those "confined" to the food range offered by the Resort Schwielowsee.

We booked to eat here one night as the reviews were great. We were not disappointed.We had a great table and were greeted by friendly staff.The starter of tomato and mozzarella was fresh, tasty and the portion was bigger than I had thought it was going to be.We both had the beef tagliatelle for main which was delicious, it went really well with our red wine.The service was great. Hopefully one day we will get the chance to go back.

Had a family dinner with friends. Ordered salads, focaccia, salmon, scampi, spaghetti Bolognese and pork medallions. To say that every dish was a cookie cutter version of what it should be is to give too much credit to the chef. The salads were not particularly fresh and bland. The Bolognese, over cooked and the sauce a tasteless mess. The salmon was from a frozen piece of fish with the vegetables over cooked and mushy. The pork medallions were smothered in a a tasteless Gorgonzola sauce. The scampi was absolutely drenched in a thick tomato paste/sauce that was anything but fresh or homemade. The only semi-redeeming dish was the focaccia covered in fresh diced tomatoes and onions. This food has little taste and the chef definitely does not have an Italian soul. The staff, ho ever, was friendly and nice, a shame that they have to serve such poor and rudimentary food. A shame. Will never come here again.
