Wonderful pizza - fresh and inviting with outstanding flavour. Decent locally sourced wine (bardolino) and all at very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and good central location in the centre of town. Possibly the best Pizza I have had anywhere - ever!!

This is a traditional restaurant which pays attention to what they cook. The Pizza Boscaiola was perfect and so was the pasta Calamarta. The cream Ctalan was wonderful and the caraf of the house wine was just in place. The price was modest but the quality of the food and the servic-SUPERB, go there and enjoy. Yona S

Italy is not cheap therefore I recommend a quite town like villafranca di verona. Best location for food and accommodation if your on a budget. This little restaurant is cheap and the food is top quality, we kept on going back after touring Verona, Venice, Toronto and Arno RiverThe young waitress was amazing; She recommended dishes from the menu as well as Informed us that the owner makes beer and wine something that the locals come for at the weekend + you can't purchase such items in the market. I recommend this restaurant 100%

Ristorante Don Giulio is the epitom of an Italian Osteria. Nice inviting place with a garden, warm and tasteful decor in the dining room and of course the signatrure of an Italian osteria- the chequered tableclothes. Serving a large group simoultaneously is not easy, and still the attentive staff managed to do it for a group of 32 in an efficient and friendly manner. Food has been typical Italian, from antipasto, to fresh tasty pasta, fish and meat, accompanied by local red and white wines. Makes one crave to pay another visit shortly.

This is a small family owned restaurant that is frequented by locals. Food is traditional home style Italian cooking. It's real food, hand made, and cooked slow. Prices are good and the family that runs the restaurant was very courteous. As usual in this sort of restaurant, the menu is small. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere.

We had not booked in advance, but they were happy to serve us dinner. Ristorante Cavour specializes in local and traditional cuisine, which we like. The starters we had were prepared with love and on the premises. Great flavors! One of the options is to choose meats from the trolley, so I had to try this for my main course. When they came out with the trolley, there was so much to choose from, and they are generous with the amount of meat one can have. Great food and a nice way to serve it, since you don't have to choose, you can have it all! Deserts and coffee were wonderful. We bought a jar of their home made salsa verde, which was too good not to take it home. Service was informal yet polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Unusual location out on edge of Villafranca town and a bit basic inside. However, food was great and friendly, quick service made up for tv blaring out! Nice steak and good value.

Beautiful rustic setting accompanied by the most delicious traditional dishes of the region. We dined on affettati misiti with polenta, corn cream with gorgonzola, tagliata di coniglio, a generous portion of costata di manzo, a plate of beautifully seasoned local veggies and some house wine. And to finish, a semifreddo and a take on a classic tiramisu with sponge chocolate cake and zabaione. Everything was exquisite and the attentiveness of the (family) staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Food and service were excellent. Best meal ever!

Bellissimo posto, ambiente stile american pub anni â50 mancavano solo le cameriere sui pattini I panini che abbiamo preso erano buonissimi e il personale super gentile e simpatico, consigliato al 100%!!
