With some hesitation about having pizza & pasta while in Slovakia we stopped here for dinner. It was the perfect choice: food was amazing and definitely homemade. Taking in account we didn't speak Slovakian,staff was patient and friendly and the owner inmediately came and helped us. There is a nice covered area for outside seating and you can enjoy a sunny day taking a real italian capuccino.

We arrived at the restaurant because of a recommendation and yet we were surprised by the amazing quality. The service is just wonderful, kind and courteous. The food was really tasty. And the price is really not high. Highly recommend you will have a great experience on your trip.

Very nice place, we visited almost every day during our trip, staff is nice and attentive, food is nice although maybe menu could have more on. I understand is more coffee place than restaurant. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed bruschetta a lot. All in all we need more places like this in tatras. I really appreciate you dedicated your time for such a nice review. Concerning the menu' i can assure you that we will implement new things in the upcoming period. ( such as authentic italian pizza "with a twist" and more tasty italian stuff). Looking forward to seeing with you again at Manuel Caffe'. GRAZIE !

The restaurant is situated above the supermarket at one end of Stary Smokovec. We visited 3 times during our week-long stay and were always impressed with the quality of food on offer. The restaurant itself is very functional and lacks atmosphere but we found the staff to be friendly enough, the service quick and efficient and the food was all very tasty and nicely presented; I highly recommend the tuna salad.

We were literally thrown out... A group of 12, we came late afternoon while there was only one table taken. The brunette waitress disregarded us completely, so we turned to the girl at the kitchen who referred us back to the waitress. Asking for the manager or owner we got in return some swears...

Good Value, home cooked meaty foods. The staff seem to really care, the restraunt is simple but pleasant and the food is delicious. The steaks were good quality and well cooked but it was the ribs that particularly impressed. The ribs had a delicious bbq rub which is uncommon in central Europe. To top it off they sell Bernard beer which is (in my opinion) the best large brewery in central Europe.
