Since there is a cheap taxi-service, this rifugio is becoming more interesting for lunch or dinner. Quality as improved over the last yars, very kind service, good lccal and traditional dishes and excellents cakes. The view is spectacular. The mountain-walks around used to be attractive but are becoming a bit more difficult due to natural erosion. The taxi-service also allows disabled people to reach this place easily,

This gem of a place at the end of the walk trail up the mountains is run by a friendly couple. The food was generous and delicious in a home cooked fashion and the desserts were delectable. The magnificent views outside made the meal even more special. It was a long trek up on a cold day but it was worth it.

I have visited La Scaletta several times over the last 10 years. This litle traditional restaurant is well hidden in the basement of hotel Cima Belpra'. It serves local, traditional, home-made food in a friendly athmosphere. Prices are afordable and servise is always friendly and proffesional. Meny does not change a lot - thank god. If it works - why change it? I'll be back soon.

Good food but not too great interior. We tried different dishes and all good but not great. Seems locals go there. Try walking too or from via the walking path on the old train track

We had a lovely meal sitting outside (undercover) whilst a thunderstorm surrounded us! The waitress was friendly and efficient and our pizza and calzone was served hot and quickly with good fresh ingredients. Would definitely recommend to dine here as prices were reasonable and there was an extensive menu choice.

That was so amazing experience. Big portion of salads and meat with fresh making beer, perfect self made spaghetti with porcini - yami-yami. I was so nicely impressed. My 100% recommendation to simple (and not expensive/not snobbish) food lovers.

This restaurant is almost at the top of the Giau pass. So, app 2000 m. Great outdoors seating area. Easy parking. Went with friends when doing a Photo shoot in Cortina. Everyone was super happy with Their food. I was the only only vegetarian person in the crowd but I got a great plate with grilled veggies and polenta with a leek soup as a starter. We found this restaurant through trip advisor and meal was beyond our expectations. Innovative cuisine mixing Italian and Asian influence (as the chef had been in Japan before). Meals are beautifully presented with creative recipients. It is often a visual show before you indulge in your meal. Professional staff and attentive. Exclusive as they have only four tables. And affordable for quality and level of the restaurant. Highly recommended

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking, they accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was warm, pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Food made with more attention and care than other restaurants in the area, with a bit of "farm to Table" vibe. Definitely a good choice
