Good family restaurant with good service. Pizzas are huge and would recommend for 2 with a side salad. Pasta dishes nice, in particular seafood one. We shared a meat platter to start and there was enough for 2 or 3 people.

Our family decided to celebrate the 80th birthday of my mother in law in a romantic place of Lake Como, a little and ancient location dominated by a Castle: Corenno Plinio.There, at the feet of the Castle, there is a little restaurant called "TAVERNA AL CASTELLO", where we decided to have lunch.We booked some days before because we were 11 hosts and we agreed with the very gentle ownwers a suitable menu to our expectations.We stayed in in the internal lounge, very confortable, and eat two very good entrees, risotto and tagliatelle with meat sauce, then two meats, wild boar and donkey, served with polenta and roasted potatoes. A good red wine was served, together with water. At the end we had also a dessert at our choice. Everything was very good, high quality and served with kindness. If you need a "touch and go" lunch, they propose also an economic menu fitted for tourists, very simple but good!

A gorgeous spot on the lake. Beautiful view.The food however was on our table in 5min, and just not that great. Especially the pasta was a bit blend.Made it all feel very touristy.

Nice set menu for a group of friends, good value, large quantities for traditional dishes of average quality. Pity for the mouldy cake that was served at the end of lunch. Although the owners seemed sincerely sorry, definitely something that should not have happened.

During our hotel stay at Treterre we had dinner in the osteria three times. The menu has a decent selection of choices, with polenta, pasta, fish, meat, vegetarian and dessert options. You get a nice little appetizer as well. We tried a few different items from the menu and all were great. Also there were plenty of suggestions and explanalions from that staff when asked for. Prices were quite good, ranging from â¬6 for polenta to â¬18 for beef. They also have a nice selection of wines.The atmosphere is very cosy, as you sit in a small room with a fireplace. There are only 4 tables inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating, which I'm sure is quite nice in summer.Service is friendly and qualified.

Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. Came for lunch and enjoyed the great location right next to lake and decent food and good service. Dinner was a little less special as same menu no specials, tepid monk fish lacking the va va vroom its outside premises appears to promise. Casual dress, next door to camping site. Would revisit for lunch and maybe give second chance try, maybe more local pizza and pasta, overall it's nice location and ok service just not as special food wise as it looks. Apparently great drinks terrace on roof, so maybe a bit more a couples and young persons place.

We loved stumbling across this restaurant. The staff were so accommodating (we arrived after the official lunchtime serving hour and they adapted the menu to suit us as vegetarians). They clearly take great pride in their food and explained each dish and itâs origins. Weâd definitely go back.

Me and my boyfriend have been in the restaurant and the food is great! The Chef is really nice and funny. He made some jokes with me and then he invited us to drink some of his self made Limoncello. It was a really pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I hope I will see you again for some more jokes and more of your awesome pizza!!

Had a great dinner there, it was expensive but worth every eurocent, starting with complimentary appetizers through the main fish dishes and dessert. Great wine selection. Exceptional service, perfect (native?) English spoken. The location a bit off the main drag and across a street from the lake did not seem as good as more central restaurants but it turned out very quiet and cozy there. Recommended!
