This spot was a refreshing change from the more formal restaurants and pizza spots. We were looking for a quick bite for lunch in the midst of a cycling day, and this was perfect. It's small, with only a handful of tables outside. They offer a great selection of freshly made toasted sandwiches, hand-pressed juices, and smoothies. Service was friendly and prompt. The toasties were excellent and generously-sized. We chose a few different options with prosciutto - very, very yummy. The juices have interesting flavor combinations and are very refreshing - if served cold of with a little ice, they would be even better!

Cars park in front of where you eat open air but this is not a problem. Nothing against the professional service staff but...âprimiâ taste like in the eighties restaurants ... a horrible deja vu. Obviously here we are a lot far away from the sea so that sea products are everything but fresh....food is really disgusting as they top fish and seafood as it was meat. Donât eat sea fish and seafood far away from the sea, they have no culinary culture about it.

On our way towards Dolomiti mountains, we decided to have a lunch break in Peschiera. The weather was quite good and many people were strolling around downtown Peschiera. We decided to visit this restaurant, which was the first time for us, also having read good things about it. Its location is a bit secluded from the lake front, but anyhow it was very easy to reach it. The presented menu was quite attractive, so we have been a bit embarrassed and it took us a few minutes to make our selection, but finally we did it, mainly mollusk/shellfish oriented, which has proved very good. To conclude our meal, we got a lemon sorbet and some "Tozzetti", together with a glass of sweet wine. Good! Price resulted medium/high, anyway in line with the quality of the food.

Osteria Veneta prepare typical dishes of the Veronese tradition and of our surroundings
We ate here twice as part of a large group with children and the service was really good. The anti pasta boards are lovely and the mains we had were fantastic. Would particularly recommend the rabbit polenta and the gnocchi. Good wine too.

A beautiful and delicious meal with wine tasting to match! The quality of both the food and wines on offer was excellent and the five course menu very reasonably priced. Extremely friendly staff and faultless service. The owner's wife gave our group a tour of the cellars prior to the meal. All the aspects of winemaking were explained in excellent english and we were amazed when she told us she had only studied the language for the last six months! All their produce are available to buy at the end of the tour.A very enjoyable day and highly recommended!

My husband and I had two delicious fish dishes - both different. And we both loved what we had ordered. The staff were excellent - it was a very busy evening but they were attentive and went out of their way to make our evening special.

The restaurant closed for holidays from November 22nd to December 2nd. Thanks Marco Daniela e Nicolo'
At itâs best, food in Italy is equally simple and full of flavour. We had a light lunch here in which every element was perfect. The best Parma ham I have ever eaten, sliced very finely indeed with possibly also the best burrata and a huge side salad. We were first presented with small bruschette of tomato and avocado which were sensational. On the table alongside the olive oil and balsamic was some balsamic cream which added another layer of luxury. A macchiato came with a few pieces of nutty biscuit in alcohol which made the coffee sing. The staff were delightful, especially the young guy who thought we were German ( as have most people here, bizarrely! ). This simple but outstanding and very reasonably priced lunch will linger long in the memory. If you are in Pescheria take a two minute stroll from the tourist traps in town ( of very variable quality ) and treat yourself in this delightful establishment.

We didnât have long for lunch as we had a ferry to catch so we chose a starter each - tuna sashimi and the burrata - and a salad to share. Absolutely delicious food, cool tranquil setting and such lovely staff. Only wish we had had time for more. Highly recommended.

Located in the historic center of Sirmione, Ristorante il Girasole has a large dining room (for non-smokiners) and a partly covered terrace surrounded by flowers and plants, which overlooks the picturesque Via Vittorio Emanuele . It is an ideal restaurant
Booked in advance for our first night in Sirmione.Glad I had done so, as people were willing to queue such is the quality of this restaurant.Casual atmosphere with fine dining food at very reasonable prices.Friendly efficient staff, well worth booking!Dear Guest, thank you so much for your words of great appreciation. As you define our Girasole as 'worth a visit' we do hope you will also have the chance to come back some time in the future, when you may have the opportunity to visit Sirmione once again. We are so glad to read you did not only enjoy our dishes, but also the friendly atmosphere that our staff can create.Looking very much forward to it,Ristorante Il Girasole

The service in this place is absolutely appalling. The staff clearly donât want to be there. As far as food goes itâs hit & miss. My husband order a mixed fried seafood!!!! Really donât.... unless itâs for comedy value. Everything must just be thrown into the pan together. Some of the pieces couldâve been bounced off the ground it was so over cooked and some of the pieces had been coated & fried whilst still in their shells!!!! So given that there are MANY MANY restaurants around Iâd advise you to just find somewhere else to be honest. The drinks were nice and cold though .... when we eventually got them.
