As part of the Intercontinental Hotel, this restaurant is set on the sea (a beautiful setting) and you must book to get a sea view rather than be stuck on the footpath above the restaurant. We had a very bad experience here. The service was terrible, and both of us had terrible diarrhea after the meal. Separately, the many stray cats around were disturbing.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Itâs not far from the square. I got fried tomino boscailo to start which was wrapped in Parma ham on a bed of salad in balsamic vinegar. I didnât like the cheese however, if you do like this type of cheese it would be a very tasty choice! I then ordered a spaghetti marinara from the specials menu which a seafood love would definitely love! My partner ordered the pesto gnocchi which was gorgeous and the little Italy pizza which was amazingly fresh! Itâs worth a try if you like Italian food! The staff were so friendly too!

Very well served and very helpful staff overall. Food was great. Only things I would say are: a waiter thought we were ready and asked whether we wanted dessert - At that stage we only shared a starter and main course was on the way! The other thing was that with regards red wine by the glass they only had one option, and after a few minutes the table next to us asked for red wine by the glass and they were given two options. Not sure why this happened, maybe I did not look like an experienced wine drinker? Bad assumption, anyway - food was good and hope to return again and next time everything goes flawlessly!

We were in St Julian's Bay for just 1 week and wanted to try many of the top rated restaurants. We ate at Maltese Mama, Storie @ Sapori, Biancos, 1927, Wigiâs Kitchen, Le Majoliche and here. The good news is that they were all very good so if you are staying here you are pretty much guaranteed good food.In the face of some stiff competition we thought this restaurant was the best all round dining experience of our week. Excellent service, beautifully presented and delicious food, lovely setting in an outside courtyard â and good value too.We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche and shared a prawn starter which was amazing. My wife had a fillet steak which was beautifully cooked and I went for the oven baked fish of the day which was also excellent. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Primitivo. We didnât have room for desert!You should east here.

I bought lunch for myself and two friends here. I came due to the high rating on Trip Advisor, but it wasn't cheap and tasted garbo.There's way better food nearby. Wouldn't recommend.Also the owners have a witty comment to make about every negative review telling them how wrong they are. As past customers, we use this and other review platforms to tell people of our experiences, you can't tell us that our opinion is wrong.

My wife and I re-visited this restaurant for dinner. We shared the most tender carpaccio di polipo and my wife then had a lovely pasta allo scoglio while I ordered swordfish all' acqua pazza. The portions were most generous and the sauces were to die for. All this was washed down with a white Sicilian Catarratto. We ended the dinner with a cannolo (for me) and a pistacchio semi-freddo (for my wife). All for 80 Euros.No wonder the place was completely full with clients queuing outside for tables to become available.This restaurant is a must to visit BUT do make a reservation.

Really authentic Italian food. Great service and a nice location on the side of the street with outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of seafood options, including fresh lobster linguine. Highlights for us included the carbonara, the pizza Napoli and the dough and seaweed balls with tempura vegetables.

We were served delicious food by well mannered staff in a perfectly set terrace with live singing. Adding to this there is ample parking for diners. We were a group of four and ordered 4 dishes - rack of ribs, fish and two pasta dishes. All were expertly cooked and with very friendly service and advice from the waiter.For dessert the cook came out with a selection tray which he said were all home made. We tried the baileys mousse which was excellent. He also gave us a complementary glass cherry wine with the coffee.The prices are very reasonable, came to just over â¬100 for 4 people.The restaurant is unassuming and unpretentious, but friendly and with genuinely good food and excellent value for money. The only problem we had was car parking.This was our third visit and there will be many more for sure.
