We were so lucky to find this restaurant (even though it was right around the corner , we stayed at the Hotel Visconti,great hotel by the way),anyway,every dish was exceptional .Fresh,made so well with expertise .The staff was perfect.Friendly,fast and professional. Not a tourist place,simply a gem. Look for it,it can easily be over looked

You could pass this restaurant in the city of Gorgonzola if you didn't have the address but locals don't need a GPS to get great food and wonderful prices. The service was professional and attentive and the food superb. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming but not memorable. The food was the part that was memorable and the short wine list had ample local selections of fine wines as well as wines from other regions of Italy. I started with Prosciutto di Parma and Bufala Mozzarella and then ordered their pasta dish of the day which was pappardelle pasta with porcini mushrooms and pancetta. Everything was delicious and if you are in the general area of Gorgonzola, this restaurant is worth the visit.

We had two great experience start to finish at L' Incontro Melzo on Saturday and Sunday night, enjoying authentic and fresh Italian food and wines, with brilliant service and friendly staff who were very knowledgeable and keen to make our experience excellent.As a very demanding Italian dinner I truly recommend L'incontro!!!

Nice and relaxed place to eat. Menu is a little expensive but the service, the environment and the dishes deserve it. Kids can play on the garden. I love "la paranza fritta", don't taste the fried oil, and the fish is good. Stuff from the grill is delicious. I always come back!

Me and two of my colleagues had a dinner at Mami on a Tuesday evening. After taking the order, the appetizers and drinks arrived promptly. Once the food was gone, we started waiting for the hamburgers. And we kept on waiting, in the meantime consoling ourselves with the beers. As it turned out, we had to ask the staff twice and wait another 1 hour and 15 minutes before the main course finally appeared. Truly to our disappointment: the bun burnt and hard as a rock, the meat well done to the point of turning into charcoal. As far as the service and the food is concerned, Mami turned out to be way below our expectations and indeed of questionable value. And that takes into consideration the fact that on Tuesdays - unbeknownst to us beforehand - the hamburgers can be had for half the list price. The one good thing? The place was full of good looking young people of both sexes, which was the only saving grace to the otherwise miserable experience.

Staying in the nearby area we have eaten here 3 times and will probably enjoy another meal here before we leave. We have had take away pizza.... Top class ...delicious meals I recommend the Fritto Miso.. Fresh and huge portions and any pasta or pizza was cooked to perfection. Good wine and all priced very reasonable. Worth a visit... I'll b back
