Koggala is a small coastal town, situated at the edge of alagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Galle District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. Koggala is bounded on one side by a reef, and on the other by a large lake, Koggala Lake, into which the numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. It is approximately 139 kilometres (86 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level.

The view was gorgeous, we came right at sunset and it was amazing. It is lovely sitting right at the beach, and it is very calming. Great service, and food. The pizza is fresh and delicious, and the put your own toppings is a great feature.

Celebrated birthday dinner with my wife. The bruschetta was beautifully presented and tasty (both the olive/feta and normal version) and the (large) pizza one of the best after a month travelling in SL - we took half a pizza home. Ambiance is comfortable and laid back and the pizza chef and wood fired oven located at the front of the restaurant the centre of attention. The relative expense is offset by good quality. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This is the best dinner on Sri Lanka what we had. Food was perfect and als service was on top level. We had pasta and fish both was great and fresh food. Everything clean and with beautiful view to the Indian Ocean. Really recomend it!!! Thank you very much for such a great review. We work really hard to offer the best food for our guests. Well reviewed place on Unawatuna beach. We went here after reading the great reviews for drinks and dinner. The setting is lovely and the drinks were good but not amazing. The food was also good without being as great as perhaps we expected after reading the reviews. We had the pesto pasta and the prawn burger - both were enjoyable but we enjoyed other places to eat in Unawatuna more for this price.

This was the poorest meal I had in the whole of Sri Lanka.. The shrimp gnocchi did not smell fresh, the hummus was no good at all... the vegetable was cold and the pasta is not homemade (as the pictures indicate).And to top it off, they prepared the food topless.. talk about hygiene.Sad to say that I do not recommend this place to anyone!Hello, we are sorry to read these hard words.Just to be clear, we buy only fresh shirmp everyday, the hummus is our style hummus, we usually serve vegetables cold cause people like it, and last, we serve pasta homemade only on request.Anyway, we don t pretend to be perfect, we apologize for our mistakes and we try to do better everyday, learning from mistakes.We woud like to suggest you, next time, if you don t like something, you can tell directly to us. A bizarre Italian indoor / outdoor restaurant with authentic Italian food, perfect portions and reasonable prices.Approached through what appeared to be a combination of secret doors, the dining area is mainly in an enclosed full glazed stand alone room, set within beautiful gardens. We did not stay at this lovely property but ate in it 3 nights out of 7! Food was wonderful, beside the sea with turtles popping their heads up a few metres away in the waves. Great, friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Also one of the fab swings that goes over the sea is part of the property.
