Obviously not much is open in Jerusalem on a Saturday. This cafe was a gem to find - open early for coffee on Saturday morning, we got take away at 8am and then went back mid-morning for another coffee. Tables outside, friendly staff, lovely coffee and delicious sounding food (breakfasts, salads, sandwiches), plus fresh juices and smoothies.

An amazing little place (near The Dan Panorama.) 4 of us were staying at an Air B&B on George Washington St. We were delighted to stumble upon P2 while we were actually looking for a different restaurant.The pizza were delicious and the owner was delightful. We went back twice in 4 days. Never did try their pasta but it looked great.I can't call it "Cheap Eats." Nothing in Israel is cheap.

Four of us went in for dinner. The food was great, the waiter no so much. We waited quite awhile to place our order, and it took forever to get our check, I had specified that we wanted seperte checks before he took our order. We got one check and as I was looking at it I saw extra items we had not ordred and since it was in Hebrew I had to ask the waiter to explain. He saw hus mistakes went back gave us new checks with someone elses charge card, OK we finally get my charge card he has not seperated the check says he credited this and that but he double billed us so he then credited it, Anyway we paid and left with 6 slips of paper in Hebrew so I wasn't even sure what we paid for. The next day I checked my crdit card and we were charged once for our meal and again for I'm not sure what, Luckily our tour had another night in Jeruselum and I was able to go back and speak to management who were wonderful! They took care of the problem and were veryapologetic. So kudos to them but get rid of the waiter

Pizza Flora has really really good pizza. Fantastic doe, good sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil leaves. It is Kosher, without certificate which is a pity as I am sure it keeps away many customers. If you're not Kosher or Kosher but trust the owners (as I obviously do), go there!

Dining with Atalya is an unforgettable experience that you will want to share with your friends and family because words cannot do her hospitality justice. I was lucky enough to be invited to a dinner hosted by Atalya at her lovely home for a close friend and the meal was easily one of the best I have ever had. However, to comment just on the food alone would be a disservice to Atalya, as the experience encompasses far more than just a meal. Beginning with cocktails and a sunset view from her roof, Atalya was a cultural ambassador for Ein Kerem, describing the historical, cultural, and culinary significance of her beloved home town. And this unique joy and attention to detail carried over into the meal, a multi-course feast that fully displayed all the region has to offer. From ceviche to spinach in phyllo to fresh fish and lamb chops with tzatziki, during each small course Atalya told us charming stories about her quests throughout Ein Kerem, Mahane Yehuda, the Old City, and Mea Shearim to find the best local ingredients and rediscover the traditional ways of turning these ingredients into the iconic dishes for which the region is now famous. Even the local wines, paired expertly with each course, were accompanied by tales of similar artisans and their crafts. And of course the meal concluded with some phenomenal desserts with local influences. In short, if you dine at Atalya's you will definitely have a great meal, but you will also come away with a deeper appreciation of the city, the region, and its food and a fantastic memory of an experience that will not soon be forgotten.WOW! you made me excited do much!
