The restaurant is located in the center of the town and we came across it while looking for a place to eat. The trip advisor reviews looked positive so we gave it a go. The restaurant offers "italian dishes" and Romanian. We've encountered small hurdles from beginning. The waitress seemed reluctant to approach the table.We soon discovered that omelets were not available since they run out of eggs. I know this was lunch time but hey, it's written in the menu. She left, giving us time to look again at the menu and came back telling us, they found eggs. We placed our order for the omelets, a margarita pizza, cabbage salad, soup and 2 focaccia.It took the food a lot of time to come and by then we were very hungry.The focaccia was not really a focaccia but a pizza dough with some herbs and olive, dry and pretty tasteless. We asked the waitress to have a look and get it back to the chef. She tried to tell us that what is written in the menu is reflected on the plate but eventually she took them back to the kitchen. They came back with added oil on top. Not a huge change.By the end of the meal:- the waitress was friendly and nice enough not to argue with us as I've encountered in other places. She was helpful.- the food was poor to average. The salad was bland, the focaccia, not really a focaccia, the soup ok and the omelets acceptable. The pizza was well cooked, initially should have had a lot more items in it but we asked for it to be plain.- the restaurant looks nice but the dishes are too expensive for their quality.- while I can understand the chef's license to be creative when the dishes advertised are world recognized, the quality and appearance should reflect the original. Otherwise just change the name.While this place might be good enough for some travelers or locals, it is a place where I do not want to go back and I cannot recommend. With a quite expensive, poor food the ambiance is not enough the make up for the negatives.It didn't appear to be wheelchair friendly. The parking was limited on site but we didn't use it. There was no wifi offered.

All from excellent above...food quality, variety, waiters, service all you can ask for. The location is nice with a generous terrace and also places inside for the cold weather times. I always eat there when I go to Ramnicu Valcea. If you ever reach there don't miss it!

This is the second time we visited Maisonette. First time was in summer. Nice, spacious open air terrace. Second time in September, this time in the restaurant. Both times the food was great and the service was good. Not the typical Romanian kitchen. Quite cosmopolitan choices in their menu. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the quesadilla during Snowfest Transalpina, my friends were fighting to taste it! Fresh taste, especially the fusion burger, with goat cheese. Perfect nacho experience when tasting the hard shell taco!

I've been here several times as one of my good friends liked it here. Not anymore...The waiters are friendly indeed, but the food is, how can I put it gently, kind of a thing to pass on, sadly...Is close to center, but everything in Rm. Valcea is this way :)

We went to Ramnicu Valcea just for a relaxing weekend so we had no idea were to eat or what to visit (with the exception of Saline).We drive around the city (which isn't big), and saw the restaurant D'amici and looked well and decided to get in for lunch.All I can say that the food was exeptionally delicious, the service was fast and it wasn't expensive.I liked it and if you have a trip to Valcea, you definitely have to eat in D'amici, you won't regret it.

This was such an surprise. Bistro is so beautiful and cozy with beautiful terrace too. And food is exceptional. We had a classic burger from Transylvanian beef and I was in heaven, and I must say I am not a burger fan. Also I had local beans soup - what to say, as soon as I came back home I have been searching for the recipe to taste it again. Bravo!

Dropping a negative review for the sake of potential new customers and hopefully, an improvement by the restaurant management. First, don't wait at the entrance to be seated, they don't know what that means.The service is not good. Waitress looked like she wanted to be elsewhere. The three of us ordered seafood plate and two pizzas. Seafood plate was brought quite fast, 15 minutes later but we had to wait another 20 minutes for the two pizzas. First plate was cold in the meantime. Pizza guy was apparently busy smoking outside.The pizzas were not so good. One was covered with a huge amount of salad, see photo.Hope this helps.

Great food, great services!!The local looks like a real italian restaurant, itâs clean, the food is tasty, fresh and warm, the staff is kind and profy, the waiting time till uâll be served itâs acceptable. I,ve been there many times and always it was full due very good services and delicious food.
