We were so suprised to find this lovely restaurant close to the airport. We can highly recommend this to everyone. The staff was friendly and spoke great English. The food was a delight. If you stay in the area this is a must.

We stopped off in this bar/restaurant after our plans for the evening fell through. It was a very pleasant surprise as the drinks were of a reasonable price and the food to go along with these was an amazing selection of antipasti which was laid out and restocked frequently.The bar staff did not speak much English (but this was better than my Italian) but were very helpful and polite.

Pizza buona, buoni gli abbinamenti e le materie prime.Servizio da migliorare, poco attento e in un paio di occasioni hanno dimenticato cioâ che avevamo ordinato, tipo le bevande e i dolci.Presente un parcheggio interno a disponibilitaâ limitata e fuori, in strada, non so parcheggia facilmente.

Wonderful, authentic Roman food. Perfect pasta and grilled meats. I highly recommend the Carbonara and the Cacio Pepe.Just around the back of the airport in a quiet neighbourhood, it doesnt look much (will be refurbished shortly) but the food is absolutely first class.The crowd is mostly local workers and business people, prices are very affordable.

We were made to feel very welcome. The bread and nibbles which were brought to our table on arrival were tasty. The mixed antipasti starter was ok - just could have had more flavour and seasoning. Our pasta main courses were OK too - retrospectively (having eaten in several other restaurants in Rome since this visit), it wasn't at the highest end of the scale of tastiness or quality. The house red wine was amazing value and very drinkable. Portion sizes were generous.

First of all, the rating is not 5 out of 5 only because the menus were in Italian and the waiters couldn't speak English at all. We tried getting what we thought was a meat pizza and ended up with an eggplant pizza. The crust and the cheese were awesome though, so one would only assume the right choice in pizza would be a great lunch/dinner.

Small but very nice and cozy pub that, as in the true tradition of English or Scottish, becomes a meeting point to enjoy the friendshipGreat welcome, the excellent craft beer is served accompanied by dishes of the highest quality. The kitchen is always open. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. You feel at home from the first time, especially if recovering from an exhausting journey.

We were here on our last day of the holiday, staying in a hotel ,handy for the airport and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff. It was frequented by locals and was rapidly filling up. I had marinated salmon as a starter which was light and refreshing then a wonderful plate of calamari. Pizza and pasta is second to none in Italy but it was great to see fish on the menu at a reasonable cost. I , now, would also advise people to stay in Ciampino and visit Rome as it is less frenetic and cheaper.

I called in here, as it was near to the apartments where I was staying. I previously thought that it was impossible to ruin Italian food but they managed it here. Bruschetta al tonno was dry bread with a bitter-tasting tuna paste. Terrible! The scalloppina were OK but very bland. The head waiter was fussing around people he obviously knew and didn't even wish me a "good evening" - the waitresses were good, however. Very attentive. I ate in the gazebo and this meant that the manager allowed people to smoke, presumably because it's "outside" but it wasn't really. It was terrible, having smoke wafting into my direction whilst eating. I'm sure the locals love it but as a tourist, avoid it.
